I hope they expand on this next week. Also, no checkpoints in PoE. Apparently that was said prematurely during the stream.

These two points are so very disappointing. First of course they made a mistake on the checkpoints, because it is the one thing that everybody has been asking for from the beginning of POE. It is insane that there will be no checkpoints. They said there would be check points because it is only logical. In the dev evironment they can probably start at any point they wand so they may not even relate to our concerns. The second problem is that they showed only a 335 gun drop for the successful challenge completion. By doing this they fooled a few of my friends into thinking that it would be guaranteed 335. But that would make it too easy for us to advance. Of course they will troll us infinitely with low light drops.

Exactly. It dropped at 335 because their characters were 335. That's also why it looked so easy
