If you're an inexperienced player , yes it does suck. If you have a limited time to play and want to get the most out of an hour/hour and a half, its perfectly reasonable to want to play with other experienced players . Who wants to spend 4 hours doing KF when you know you can do it in 1?

There's too many elitists out there. There are people that are out there that will help. I frequently help out in raids on weekends and met quite a few others that do the same on lfg. Granted I understand some of the people just want to get it done and have had some bad experiences, some of those same people are their own problem. Before I had a 320 charachter, I was in awe when I saw the first 320 I came across. He died more than the 313 on our team. Light level doesn't mean anything if you don't know what you're doing or you just aren't capable of handling a role outside of every easy job. I had a friend that got too big headed when I took a 2 month break from the game, came back and he was a 317 or 318, "helping" me through hard mode for the first time. Soon I noticed how he got to 317, he took every job that was safest and least amount of responsibility. The reason I say that is because any time we ran and he didn't get those exact jobs with other teams, he died a lot, blamed everyone else, was the highest light level getting the least amount of kills and doing the least amount of dps. I've seen the posts on lfg: "318+, be experienced." I messaged one say I was a 320 titan, but don't invite me, because I don't raid with @$$ hats like you. Finding a raid can be like your first job, where they are looking for someone who's 21 years old with 30 years experience in the field. Don't get discouraged, none of these elitist clowns went in to the raid knowing exactly what to do, nor did they do it flawlessly. It took them time to get there too, they just seem to forget it conveniently. Keep your eyes on lfg, there's people out there that will help. I've "taught" entire raids, each job in the raid, and challange modes (multiple ways to do them). There are many others out there doing the same. Edit - for the record, I have a wife and 2 children and a full time job with overtime here and there. My wife and I still find time to play the game. We also don't consider it "babysitting" our kids, we raise our kids. Sometimes you don't need to spend too much time figuring out what an @$$ hat someone is, just listen to what they say and how they say it.

I did normal kings fall at 303 with hung jury, 1k stare and high impact MG. It is getting harder to get fireteams due to people playing other games. Pre ttk you could get a fireteam for any event in a few mins.

ive joined groups where sometimes its the lowest light inviting all 319's or 320's while they are like 310. also went down and we carried on with 5. dont be that guy

Because no one know how to do the raids well anymore all the veterans have vanished lol or atleast good players are hard to come by and honestly no one wants to do a raid for 2-4 hours.

Make your own group or look for a group without those requirements? Like seriously are you all just completely useless and need your hand held through all of life?

Personally if you are not 315 or higher I wouldn't raid with your dumbass either

Trust me I know exactly how you feel, but at least Tom is easy to get your hands on. Back in year 1 if you didn't buy ghorn on the very first Friday xur sold it, you pretty much were excluded from doing alot of content, it didn't really happen until crota, but it was still s pain to try and get anyone to allow you to join

Really at this point if your not within 5 of max the issues you, not raid requirements.

Look here just add me if you're having a hard time find a group. I have 2 320 characters and a 319 there's not much for me to do but help other people complete the raid or play the division. That's if you're on ps4

I was doing the raid and the host said 317+ and if you die twice you get the boot we made it to oryx without d deaths or failing the host wanted to help his 312 friend who never killed oryx before so we fail once and he leaves [spoiler]derp [/spoiler]
