Banned For Bad Internet?
I been playing destiny at work for about a week now, and now I just got a temporary restriction for my internet connection on crucible due to nowhere near often as I think I should've gotten banned for occasional red bar's. I don't understand why bungie temporarily ban's people, over the dumbest shit. I've supported this game since day 1, and now I get a ban even if it's a temporary ban, why aren't they going after the more pressing issue's like fixing the match making and not matching people who lag instead or putting them in another lobby or kicking them out of the game if there too laggy, I can go on and on but point being it's just stupid then they wonder why so many people have left the game...I got nothing but love for bungie/destiny but really guys? you guys don't even have a support/contact button to where we can actually call and explain our case to you that's just sad.

Play PvE at work from now on. Simple fix and you don't get banned for affecting other people experience with your bad work internet. Nobody will report you for bad connection in PvE

Bungie said time and time again if you have bad Internet and you go in to iron banner or trials of Osiris they will temporary band you for the first time the second time it will be a longer ban and Till you get permanently banned. So it is your own fault if you know your Internet at work sucks stop fing playing there

I feel you mate :/ i never got banned but i got a red bar here an there and i always received hate msg's when i lag. Iam always at the last position in the team when i red bar :p....

More like "Banned because Bungie won't fix their netcode." Im not banned, but the move they are pulling of just plain ban users who their "server" has no power enough to deal with plus the damage referee is a dick move.

1 RespuestaSorry man, but it's hard to tell sometimes between network manipulators and people with a legitimately bad connection. End results are mostly the same. Sorry about the ban, but the reality is when you do lag, you bring everyone else's experience down.

My internet is shit but it got real bad today I have 300kb/s at the moment think about that for a second not mb kb I usually have 1.7 mb/3mb. Wanna know why its gone to 300kb? Fibre is finally coming to my area so give or taie a week or so and I will have 20-30mb. So dont expect to see me on crucible til this shit gets sorted wooo

When I see red bars, I'll in game report (if its noticeably affecting the game) in hopes that I won't be match made with those players in the future. I'm sure I've had an occasional red game here or there myself but if you have a temporary ban, must've happened enough where you continually got reported. I'm with bungie on this one
