What do you miss most about Year 1 Destiny?
Currently, I miss rerolling weapons a lot. I don't often get good rolls right off a weapon drop; for instance the times I got an Ash Factory and the IB Sniper (whatever its name is) had shit perks. :(
Although, after hearing responses--I have changed my mind, I miss Vanilla Destiny the most. The excitement and goal of leveling and gathering various equipment won't be forgotten.

The real answer is; having friends online who want to play. losing them left and right and with the Division next week gonna lose some more. Makes it hard to get a raid group going, getting lucky with randoms is what I have to hope for.

What i miss about year 1 destiny is year 1 destiny. Tuesday rituals, VoG, Crotas End, gorgon checkpoint, nightfalls that punished you rather than hold your hand, nightfall buff, bounties worth 100 rep + 5000 exp, sepkis, reaching max level with iron banner gear, getting mythoclast 1st Vog, getting crux a few weeks after hard mode dropped, the list goes on. Year 2 is just an absolute grind nigthmare with rng making it 10x worse.

1 RespuestaI hated re-rolling. It took the fun away from getting new weapons. I had a TLW/THORN primary, efrideet's spear and party crashed with shot package, rifled barrel, and battle runner for speed. And a tomorrow's answer. You wouldn't see anything else. At least now when I get a primary, I feel excited to see the perks

3 RespuestasEverything! I know that is vague but even though some people complained, I had a lot more fun in year 1 than I have had in year 2. I felt more powerful, the drops seemed better, and the rewards for the events (IB, NF) were much better.
