I think it is great that Bungie has made such a competitive game mode that most people can not complete the mode. It created a new economy for the elite gamers. Carry for money..I mean...donations. Bungie has created the demand. By the demand being there, It means all the greats will continue to play all weekend long making hundreds of dollars while carrying a player and blocking the casuals from completing the 9-0 lighthouse run. In return, the casuals will get tired of the failure and either quit playing or pay the elite for a carry. Of course people with top donations get priority so let the bidding war begin. Great Job Bungie, you gave the people who do not have jobs a job to do where they can make good money off the video game the consumers funded! I am glad it is not against the terms of conditions to generate a profit off Destiny. How much for a run??

Funny 200+ people carried for me personally, $0. Don't be mad because there is some asshats out there. 2) i don't even require a follow i use twitch so i don't have to keep a list and it keeps the ball rolling and i already have a job so F lists lol.

I admire you for helping people. But there are asshats that give you a bad name. Question though, If you carried 200+ people, why does destiny trials report show 72 flawless runs. Don't get me wrong, that is very impressive and you are obviously one of the best players out there. I would gladly pay you $0 dollars to get me to the lighthouse but I don't really think it exists. I am one of the people that I was talking about though. I need to either quite playing the mode or pay some ballers to get me there. I will never do it from LFG bounty hunters. I just want to make it one time...one freaking time. I hate getting wiped out by a team with two players like you and 1 player like me. Then of course I get tbagged and/or a message saying we suck. Guess that is why I am bitter about the culture Bungie has created. But never fear, they are fixing control since it is not competitive..for f's sake I was really expecting more salty replies though. Guess the community is on break or some agree.

Editado por Zonntohn: 2/26/2016 3:32:02 PMIt's pretty simple, Only have 3 characters and only one run per character counts a weekend so after that first round to the lighthouse that weekend with that character the rest wont count anymore (not to mention with boons the people we help only need 7 wins and i dont buy the boon so i restart etc). The culture we have created with this is one of helping people , you clearly haven't found the right group. https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/192511420/0/0 <----- this is the right group we all under stand its a game and for fun people really need to relax, and you can see for yourself.

After looking at the post, let me tell you a little story. I was on my Titan. We were at 4 wins and 2 losses. Man I wanted the boots and it was my last chance to get it them. Granted, I would have probably lost because I was in a fireteam of randoms but we were doing ok. I checked to see if there were any sidearms, NLB, or Icebreakers so I would know if I was going to face snipers or secondaries the first round. What I saw was much worse, Drlupo, Ramblinn and Kinsbane. I managed to get 2 kills that game. I was actually kind of happy about that. We lost and my dreams of the boots went along with it. I have watched Drlupo and actually follow him on Twitch. I do like him. I sent him a message telling him I liked his stream and to have fun in the lighthouse. No replies though. He probably never read it and figured it was hate mail. Point of this story? there is none. it is just a story.

it cause his inbox is flooded lol

Exactly, so lets say he carries 1 person (even though I would like to be that person) he will have at the minimum cock blocked 21 others trying to go to the Lighthouse. Lets say he has carried 200 people, defeated 4,200 people trying to get a pair of boots. Since people keep getting stopped by top tier players who are "helping", more people flood to them in hopes of a ride to the lighthouse. Can't beat them? join them. Many streamers do make a lot of money off the carries. Good for them. They are providing a service for people to get to the lighthouse and also creating the reason people need the help. It is kinda like the mob getting paid for protection against the mob. Don't get me wrong, not everyone is in that position but even the best intentions have a negative impact on others. I will keep trying, keep looking for my lottery ticket to the lighthouse, may even have to purchase a ticket. Bungie created this issue. Maybe they could work on the match making? Skill base is fine but I don't want to be matched against them again when I am 4-2. I know they were not 4-2. maybe 4 -0. End of rant. Maybe you will have a chance to wip my ass on Trials of (my) Butthurt. :D
-
Mercy means technically he could have blocked no one,. All how you look at it, plus he would be playing it anyways so better off helping people then just murdering everyone every weekend lol.
-
I don't have a problem with him playing, more of the match making. If they could bring SBMM to Control and other modes, why not Trials? They had an average ELO of 1,430 versus our 950. Should they have won? you bet. Does Destiny use ELO, nope, But they have some mystical algorithm for their skill rating that is top secret and they could use that. I am sure the skill ranking they use would have showed the same thing. I know it is end game content and is the hardest mode they have. But they have not put damage referee on it and they have not reworked the match making. I don't understand why they would attempt to make positive changes to the non-competitive crucible modes and not make any changes to Trials. It is sad when I am asking for SBMM while all the top players are saying it is to difficult to play top tier players..haha They just like to eat my Blueberries.

Editado por Zonntohn: 2/26/2016 2:42:55 PMIf SBMM was in trials no one would make it lol, think about it you would then have a 50-50 chance of winning but you need to win 7 games in a row, not only that your punished for being good at end game content? That would be like the "best Raiders" having to complete a harder raid to get the same rewards.
-
I would not mind a harder raid. I have quit raiding the last couple week since there is a "significant light increase" on the way. There will always be winners and losers, someone will make it, that is what the boon is for. I guess I need to leave trials alone. Really it is not very rewarding anyways. Black guns and grim score.

That actually makes a lot of sense. Thanks

Hey. Just read through your story above, and I want to apologize for two things. 1. I try to reply to every single message. Sometimes, I can't. I have a 6 month old son, tons of real life responsibilities, and a giant pile of people I feel like I owe help to. I want to help everyone, and it can be kind of disappointing for me when I cannot. So, I want to apologize to you for not replying to your message. I am sorry. 2. I love the Elimination game mode in Destiny. I has more exciting moments while playing it than any other game type, in my opinion. Because of that, I want to keep playing. I also happen to be good enough to help people while playing it, so that's why I do it. I know it's going to end up stopping other people's runs. But, that's the nature of a competitive game, especially one that I have a high level of interest in playing. Sincerely, I apologize for not replying to your message. The number of them I get each weekend can be overwhelming. I think I'm sitting on 150+ unread right now on XBL, and maybe 50 or so on PSN that I haven't had time to read yet. I hope you have a good day.

Thank you, I took no offense to it. Keep up the great work!

Wat system you on

Hit me up some time

Wow you're a special kind of stupid. Read first then respond. They never said Anything about money or having to donate. Don't like something in the game talk to Bungie otherwise stfu
-
That is all the salt you got? come on man, I had higher expectations of this community.
-
Thank you for voicing your concern. Unfortunately I have a job. A pretty decent one. As the people who have already been into my stream will have seen everyone gets a fair chance and a donation grants you no priority. You're more than welcome to see for yourself if you wish? Maybe donate $1,000? See where it gets you?
-
I was not talking about you exclusively. I am sure you have a fine stream. But it is not uncommon for carries now a days. If you are truly helping people reach the lighthouse, there are plenty of people on lfg looking for help. If you are looking for viewers, followers, twitch partnership, subscriptions, and donations then this is a good way to do it. Help them help you. Also I knew you had a price ;)
