Lag, the new scapegoat for bad play. Is this really the point we have reached as gamers? Where now every single death or bad match can only be attributed to lag? I played last night, and though I can't speak for everyone's experience, mine was lag free for the most part. Did goofy things happen, yes, was every single gunfight or encounter I lost due to to lag? No, I got outplayed. And I just wonder if lag has become the shooter behind the grassy knoll for a lot of players. And don't come on here misreading what I'm saying, It's not directed at anyone here personally, and I'm not suggesting lag doesn't exist, I'm simply playing Devils advocate. Because what it boils down to is players not wanting to die in video games, and the fact that something else is always the reason it happens. I think this is the case for a lot of players. Just my opinion.

I actually got a on screen message from BungieVision in game to check my network as the PSN may be down. Jump out of game look at the network..........still running. I can lag the -blam!- out playing 6vs6 on destiny but, go lag free 20vs20 in another game? Thanks for the advice BungieVision my network is fine, the PSN was up and running, work on your servers maybe?? Get rid of your P2P shit servers and put something solid in place?

I can't even play Iron Banner because I get kicked from the game and lose connection just from logging in to my character. From my perspective it feels like bungie has made it to where people with bad connection can't even play the game, in one IB match the first game I had I got "Attention contacting Destiny servers and reconnecting to the game five times and finally I got booted and every time I go back to log in to my character I lose connection so I don't bother even playing destiny.

Editado por MGB: 2/25/2016 3:01:53 PMThe only way to get lag free games is to be in the bottom tier. Anyone with a KDR below 0.9 seems to have decent games. I love close games, and I love playing good players, but lag is all I get 90% of the time. Destiny is the only game that lags like -blam!-, every other game I play is lag free.

When you go into a match with green connection bars, and the other team has red and yellow...well it's a precursor to anger management. That, or everyone drops to a yellow bar to (try) to compensate. Also, alot of the time...not always...it's the crap connections who end up on top or towards the top. Coincidence? I think not. To say that it is just players griping about losing. Well...that just sounds really "elitist" and frankly, "douchy". JS.....

I love it when I get a headshit with the sniper and it takes 5 seconds before the person dies, it feels likes the Thorn in year one, 2 shot headshit and run and hide in a corner waiting for the 100 to pop

There is lag. Big time. Supered a guy about 30 feet in front of me. 1/4 damage to him then shotty to my face. Instant death. Why bungie?
-
Some time shots don't register and people are clutching all over the screen so yea lag does play a big part. When the lag is bad I always end up going negative but when it's smooth I'll get tho 2 to 4 KDRs

Best Troll post in a while.

Normally I would agree with your post however, you can't beat laggy players with no amount of skill. I don't mind getting beat by better players in general but getting beat just because you can't see them until they appear in front of you is a different thing. I received a message yesterday calling me a laggy piece of shit- I could do nothing but apologise because I knew the frustration he or she was feeling. Regardless if its your lag or others the matchmaking is broken.

Considering I just got In a game where 3 people on one team were red bars and they were the top three on their team, no it's not just an excuse. Lag in this game is worse than MW2 right before host migration.

Very well.
