1000 Yard Stare
Been seeing a lot of creative nicknames for this gun! It's good to see that if everyone is crying about the same stuff that they're at least doing so with some originality..
I've seen:
1000 yard crutch
1000 yard aim assist
And I can't forget my personal favorite "1000 yard aim crutch" because it just sounds so goofy and illogical. What are everyone else's salty-tear-filled names for this beast?
Edit: to all the small-minded tools who haven't hit the 8th grade yet to learn about verbal irony.. Git older

3 RespuestasThe 1000 yard stare is the classic example of the whinge effect. Due to there only being 2 snipers that are high impact people see once they've been sniped the name 1000 yard stare. Before you'd see LDR5001, Y09 Longbow Synthesis, Her Benevolence, shadow of veils, the supremacy (rare). So because they see the same name over and over again the average scrub starts to think "god, that thing is overpowered it keeps killing me". So rather than blame their deficiencies they look for excuses, things about the weapon like its aim assist and think "hey, it's the aim assist that's killing me, it has too much" without realising how the mechanic for aim assist works or by looking up how the aim assist stat fares on a table of snipers. Rather than simply accepting they got domed and it was more than likely good gameplay or simply their own fault.

5 Respuestas1Kys doesn't really even have that much AA compared to some of the yr1 favorites. ...But NOONE ever cried about shadow of veils and its amazingly high aa. People are just bitches. Most people have 1kys, and its already high impact, so people just make shit up in their heads when they get killed a bunch by it.
