The Exotic Sword Quest is Depressing
So, a the title says^^^
What idiot decided that walking around the moon/mars/earth for hours and hours, in circles searching for materials was a good idea?
I never complain about the crucible balance, because I realise it is hard to do. But this is just plain stupid. It literally makes you hate destiny while you are doing it.
To make matters worse, the based it on RNG!!!!! At least if say,1/10 materials dropped the rare one you want, you could see progress and how close to finishing you are, but for f*cks sake don't let one player do it in 10 minutes and another it take 3 hours. This quest design single handedly makes me wonder about the competence of some people at bungie
I've already done the void sword and I got pretty lucky, I did it in around an hour.
But I just did the solar one for 45 minutes and I've got 2/10!!!!!
Please remove this quest step. Thanks

1 RespuestaPut on a ghost which highlights material locations, put on a sniper and scan the area through the scope. The material locations will be highlighted in scope. Hope this helps. We did it as a team of three rotating areas which seemed to work. Luckily I have all three. Good Luck.

I was the opposite solar and arc took about an hour each. For whatever reason mars rng hated me.

I never understood why developers add grinding materials into quests. Wait...I know why. I just wish they would stop. That step for my sword was seriously the worst hour and a half of Destiny I've experienced. Painfully boring.

3 RespuestasIt's depressing but worth it I would rather use my Dark drinker instead of my spindle or sleeper or even my touch it's my go to exotic in pve and when I feel like it I can rely on it in pvp for those sick double kills I don't know about how raze or bolt act or handle but I'll rather use this because of the amount of damage it does and no damage fall of in the amount of enemies it probably one shots every thing
