Ubisoft/Tom Clancy doing what bungie SHOULD have..
Ubisoft listened to their customers from the beta...and they've made changes to the game ALREADY! And they are re-launching the beta AGAIN with those changes!?!? Asking for more feedback!
Ubisoft is doing a good job at listening already. Ubisoft is showing good effort on their part to make a QUALITY game. They have learned that LISTENING to and RESPECTING their customers are EARNING customer LOYALTY and TRUST!
RIP, bungie.

34 RespuestasThe Division Beta was friggen amazing. It blew the Destiny Beta clean out of the water and sure enough, everything that we saw from that Angry Joe Developer Preview video was in fact still in the game. A vast majority of features weren't available because they are still adding and fine tuning those aspects of the game, which is a good sign because it shows that they are serious about making it work. The gameplay itself was well polished and I didn't encounter a single bug outside of that one glitch with the Dark Zone. (There were reportedly a number of other glitches/bugs but those have all been addressed and should be fixed) I've said it before and I'll say it again, all of these publishers only care about one thing and that's money. They all have a nasty track record. However, in terms of overall quality and how they treat Gamers? From Top to Bottom: Activision (The Worst) Electronic Arts (Wants to be Activision) Ubisoft (Gets by on not being as bad as the other two) Ubisoft has had problems and they aren't "innocent" either, but they are nowhere nearly as bad as Activision.

18 RespuestasIt's a slow choppy 3rd person shooter. It will be interesting for a month and then everyone will go back 2 FPS shooters that handle better.. I was hoping it would be at least as good as Gears of War. But it seems more like GTA 5. I like the concept. But the gameplay just isn't up to par with something like destiny.

2 RespuestasIdk why ppl r comparing these two games. Their different play style games. Ones 3rd person and very tactically oriented. And the other is first person run in and kill shit. I love both games but bungie doesn't like to fix problems. They just create new ones. It's hard to play a game that has weapons and subclasses that overpower every other weapon or subclass. And then when they try n fix it the -blam!- up another weapon or subclass. I don't know how the division will be but seems well rounded out atm.

9 RespuestasThe Division has to survive beyond the open beta first. The closed beta was decent but very much lacking in activities. Now is the time to find out if they have a deal maker or breaker on their hands.

8 RespuestasI've only played the division for a short time. It didn't seem like all that. The Shooting mechanics are way slower than Destiny. It feels a little choppy. I will play it again after work and give it a full run. It just feels a lot slower.

5 RespuestasI agree their feedback and making changes is far superior to bungie. With that being said we have only seen a closed portion of the game and it is yet to be fully released. It's too early to judge this as a success or failure.

1 RespuestaYes. Ubisoft is finally listening, after years of being one of the butt-monkeys of gaming for going on 5+ years. Bungie shat themselves with Destiny, but you'd better believe that I don't think for a second that Ubisoft deserve praise. Their behavior with the Division is just the beginning of their clean up act. And for now, that's all it is, an act.

28 RespuestasWe'll see. I'm going to give The Division a try, but one thing I must say is that for all its failings, Destiny has a level of polish and superb shooting mechanics that no Ubisoft game has ever matched.

Talked to one of the guys who worked on Diablo and he told me, he was working on something big with them but couldn't tell me exactly what because he'd get into deep shit. He didn't hesitate to say how broken the RPG elements were either. Lol. Said it's, nowhere near an RPG, and that's where his team will come in. Spoke about the original cut and said, it was better with Joe's original take. I wish I remembered the dudes name, he was a really cool guy.
