Started playing on a 55" plasma until someone gave me a crash course on input lag. After that I discovered "game mode" on my tv and all of a sudden I started winning shotgun duels a lot more. Input lag is real. I also found that if both you and your opponent are around the corner, it is more advantageous to be the aggressor because the natural tendency of lag will give you a split second advantage (you'll see them before they see you). If you don't believe this, think of all the times where someone seems to have slid into your filed of vision and kill you instantly without even turning. Fast forward 6 months later I bought a BenQ 27 gaming monitor. While the supposed less lag doesn't help me as much as before, now I'm able to be aware of the radar and be more immersed in the action by sitting closer to the TV. So yes that helped too but for a different reason. Hope this helps.
