There will be no more DLC. Just paid microtransaction events.

5 RespuestasWe'll see how that plays out. I would rather have a dlc then this shit, please bungie keep with your original plan of 10 years of dlc... please.
-
Worst idea. Lazy.

79 RespuestasPeople don't understand that this game isn't a charity. They don't want to pay for DLC, and they don't want to have microtransactions. Yet they still want new strikes, crucible maps, raids, weapons, etc. so what Bungie is supposed to make all this stuff for free?
-
1 RespuestaWell if the others are as good as SRL has been then it sounds good to me. Fun stuff. Nice change of pace. Love that 3/coins works!
-
Lmao All you fanboys are stuck on the repetitive TK for a looooooong ass time. I love Bungie lol
-
2 RespuestasFor 2015. Read the update from this week, new dlc is mentioned.
-
1 RespuestaAnd time gated missions. Don't worry, once the number of logged in players drops too low, ALL old exotic will be Year 2, old strikes will become max level, maybe even the raids... As for new content, they have only a few people working on Destiny 1, most employees are working on Destiny 2 so I doubt anything new to be replaced...
-
-
If this is true and still the case in destiny 2 when they have lost me as a player and as a fan.
-
Does anyone know if destiny two is new gen only because I feel like the game could be a lot more on new gen
-
2 RespuestasThe next dlc wont be out till the late fall of 2016. So until then they are giving free content all the way up till then. They tell us this in the updates and its not hard to find this information. The next dlc will be the cabal and the raid will be set on mars along with a new social tower there. Just read the updates and if you can't find it there then look it up on Google.

It's indeed starting to feel like the game is dead to Bungie themselves. Every(!) bigger patch is crammed with issues - the latest one a shining example of this. The public relations seldom address actual issues - again, latest patch and official commentary on it a shining example (in case someone missed it, the patch notes were retroactively edited to match the fact that balance changes to weapons didn't actually happen - "9% damage decrease" was changed to "0.9% damage decrease"). Then there's of course the fact that most "new" content is actually re-purposed old content, unless it's paid by microtransactions. This is fine as long as the content's good, though. I'm starting to suspect all these "heads of department" interviewed in the news blog are actually the whole departments themselves, and the "testing" often mentioned something done among these 5 people still working with the game :)

Umm hello does the phrase "TAKEN KING" mean anything to you oryx=bungie players=taken
-
Does this honestly surpirse anyone, they made there money. theu dont.give a -blam!- about there players and fans, all they see $$$$$$$
-
Dlc's year one ( cut content from the base game) TTK dlc (cut content from the base game, that wasn't totally finished yet at the Destiny release. Switched to microtransactions and putting focus on events (because they don't have enough content to bring out as a dlc, but they still want to earn money year 2). Bungie is completely focused on Destiny 2 since the release of Destiny september 2014. And destiny 2 will probably have the content that was supposed to come out after TTK (that should have been out this month, but hey we got Sparrow racing and TTK raid challenges, yeaaaah......)
-
1 RespuestaThe funniest part of that interview is were going away from big chucky dlcs. What? Lol. When did this happen?
-
Bump! https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/179194280/0/0 Please leave feedback on the above post regarding the Eververse Trading Company being regulated.

2 RespuestasWhat I take away from that is.... The community spoke. We don't want to pay for expansion anymore. Bungies response, OK we will give you events and for those suckers who love throwing money at the screen, well we got pretty shiny things for you. Everyone else, you can still play but will look like a hobo
-
Yep. So basically what they are saying is that the only content for year 2 is TTK! Except for the re-release of year old weapons. What a freaking joke!
-
I'm done...
-
Just more proof that destiny is dead. Even they know it lol
-
5 RespuestasNo kings fall completions, no hard Croats completions, no skolas completions and your name is ELVIS. Even if we got 10 DLC for free you still wouldn't know what to blaming do. GET LOST with ur blue suede brain.
-
I like that. I mainly play for ToO and IB, so I can do that without having to pay for a new expansion and max light every quarter. I enjoy the limited time events too.
-
25 RespuestasDon't really care honestly. The free events model is a much better system anyway. Chances are Bungie is going to deliver free story and mission content as well with the events so people really need to stop complaining. Sparrow Racing is literally the greatest thing to EVER happen to Destiny. It proves that Bungie is deeply listening to the community and is willing to push the limits on what Destiny can be. Bungie is doing a stellar job with supporting the game, and I hope they keep it up.

2 RespuestasDear lord. I have no problem with buying worthwhile DLCs but if This is their 10 yr plan.. say goodbye to 50% of the remaining players who didn't leave already for CoD, Fallout, swbf3, rainbowsiege. Is it a 10 yr suicide plan? /wrists is faster..
-
Yeah I actually think it is a good model going forward. I would like to see them do a bit of real dlc mixed with events for Destiny 2. Just dog pile us down with content.
