Okay so as people guessed Bungie was testing us with micro transactions and now they are adding more. The more people continue to support these transactions then the more likely they will continue and get even worse!
We need to stop this! I'll post pics soon!

EDIT 2:
Along with Bungie pushing in more and more microtransactions they are also not planning to do any DLC until Destiny 2!!

EDIT 3: Bungie you're ruining this game!!
Another guardian posted a post like this and COZMO commented and he didn't deny the pictures at all. They care for nothing except money.
Boycott BungieVision!
Trending: Keep it up everyone!!
Edit: Rumble is now single player? Are you serious Bungie??? You now have no game types in which you can play against your friends...good -blam!-ing job!!!
Edit 2: You can still play classic free-for-all on year one maps with a fireteam of 3.
Play this while you can! My guess is it will also soon be gone! RIP competitive multiplayer with friends!
Edit: Cozmo said that sparrow racing was put in because of popular demand. How long have we been asking for private matches in crucible?
Edit: Are exotics the only thing being time gated?
*The simple answer is "NO".
*How do I know this? Well for one the "Kings Fall Challenge Mode" was said to be under development and would be later released but when challenge mode came out there was "NO PATCH". This is because it was time gated to extend the life of the game in hopes that they can make it to the next DLC. Which is said to be "Destiny 2". Meaning they are holding content that you paid for, whether you knew about it or not.
*How does this make you feel??
Edit: TheNobleGuardian
*Imagines Luke Smith sitting in chair as more and more books and silver are purchased
The Luke Smith slowly brings his cup of coffee up to his mouth
"It's all going according to plan..."
The Luke Smith then sips his coffe, and a smile slowly emerges on his face.
"And they said they wouldn't throw money at the screen."
"He then smiles with glee, leans back in his chair, and takes in the view from his Penthouse suite."
Edit: Recently looked at the amount of emotes that ESO has and they triple the amount or emotes in Dwstiny. Guess what is crazy about it? They all come with the game, and not as a paid microtransaction.
Edit: For those of you who enjoy SRL this is Deej comment on a petition to make SRL permanent.
"Don't sign the petition. Play.
Maybe even grab a Sparrow.
I'm out there. Race me."
Have any of you raced Deej?
This guy did.... http://m.imgur.com/lr68N8o
Thanks for at least holding to your word Deej!!!
Edit: For those who like to Race!

"You need the "Air Control" perk on the SRL helmets, the one that lets you use the left stick to push the sparrow down in the air. I had no idea how much it would help until I unlocked the perk. I went from placing 3rd-4th every game to 10-15 seconds ahead of everyone by the end of the race.
It will let you drop faster after jumps and hold the sparrow to the ground and hold the corners better. It makes a world of difference. Just remember to pull back on the stick or let go of the stick for jumps with a large gap of you won't make the other side.
Also take the shortcuts if you can, they help a lot."

EDIT: -blam!- off Bungie. Asking for $30 for a class boost is stupid.
You guys should just drop the servers and save everyone the time.

I bought the book! And judging by the subtitle of the book (Vol. 1) I assume I'll be buying the next book too!
-
12 RespuestasDon't buy it. Not because OP reasons. But because of this: https://www.bungie.net/it/Forum/Post/178935826/0/0

3 RespuestasI don't see the big deal. They've got more events planned and this game is already old. In 9 months we'll have the next game that'll be a million times better from community feedback and it will no longer be limited by old console support.

To bad, I want all the content

4 RespuestasThey're not doing DLC to make Destiny 2 good... game designing takes longer than a year fool. Unless you'd rather have 2 crappy DLC and a copy and paste for destiny 2, sure.
-
I'm fine with people paying. It's their money, and the choice. You don't need to pay if you don't want to. Plus they pay for the future mini events.

Editado por The Djentleman: 12/9/2015 12:32:33 PMConsidering they have been playing catch up since release it is a good move. Don't forget they asked Activision for another extension on Vanilla after they effed themselves and Activision said no. So that lead to a lackluster product with lackluster DLC's. TTK is released as a real expansion. Now they have a year to make up for their mistakes. All while drip feeding free events (were you here when everyone flipped shit over DLC prices?). Side note: I would much prefer to buy $20 expansions rather than micro-transactions that don't ever do anything.
-
"Bungie you're ruining this game!" It was ruined at release and has only gotten worse. Anybody that pays micro transactuons for this game is a fucking moron, plain and simple.

1 RespuestaRip in pieces Destiny. So long
-
*sits back and eats popcorn* I'm still waiting.

Editado por Hetchi: 12/9/2015 10:48:26 AMWe all should have gotten a record book. Really. EDIT: To keep track of times, etc.

4 RespuestasNext you're probably gonna tell to not spend my money on hookers and blow.
-
Well they worked for that sparrow racing, do you except them to work for free ? would you ?...
-
I can't see it being worth anywhere near 10 euro, so i'll skip this one. It's basically like a donate button in the game, pay 10 and get something just worth 1 euro.
-
1 RespuestaIt's not pay to win so I don't see any bad things about the micro transactions
-
25 RespuestasI already bought the book and I fully support micro transactions because that will make all of the whiners leave and it will only be us mature people left.
The game is 15 months old. It's not fresh. The fact that Bungie is still adding elements to the landscape should be celebrated; Destiny 2 is around the corner and attracting new players will continue to be an uphill battle at this point. An ordinary developer would likely call it quits and focus on the future of the franchise. 15 months is a long time in this era of disposable gaming. Seeing the title start to fade in terms of population isn't something Bungie is embarrassed about. They're likely not even concerned. Destiny was the best selling title in the history of console gaming. Destiny 2 is sure follow suit and be a mega-hit. They could have just as easily rested on their laurels and pushed the content we have through next September. Playing this off as Bungie's futile attempt to keep a dying playerbase is incredibly myopic.
1 RespuestaI don't even understand the purpose of the book. I don't particularly like racing games. Still gonna buy the book.
