I am making an assumption that when you talk about this "easy ass raid" you are concerned about some Year One content that no longer grants the same-level rewards. I have an issue with the way that Bungie has neglected the hard-earned gear and commendations through Year One, and has not revamped it through this new Taken King Expansion, as well. What we have seen in Year Two, in terms of each Guardian's light level is that--like in year one--while armor still contributes to the average of your character's resistance to damage and damage output, it has been averaged out between the weapons that you earn, armor that you flaunt, and the customization of your Ghost. But if we look back to Year One, our level was dependent upon the armor (solely) that we equipped. Even if we received a new Exotic from Xûr that week, all it needed was some upgrading and we were back in business--up to level 34 once more. And I will be the first to admit that I am not a fan of this new light level system, as there seems to be no substance to the number. If everyone can think back to the Black Spindle challenge, set at 260 Light, and how powerless some Guardians felt against some of the enemy spawn, even as 295 or more Light. It seems that while Light Level is balanced well in some areas of the expansion, such as the Raid or even Trials, it is greatly lacking in others. Now, this is not to say that the system is what is causing your aggravation, but the loot drops. In this case, all year one events (sadly, even the Prison) have not been refurbished for the year two requirements. And upon this very same discussion Bungie has commented that they do not want for Guardian's to be using the same gear for the years to come. I can see where the developers are coming from with this point; However, part of me is still inclined to argue the point that every Guardian--warrior has their very own weapon of choice, carrying along with them through every fight as their companion, their security. But the heart of the problem that what you seem to be talking about is discontent in a game that you have spent so much time playing; grinded so many Strikes; Raids conquered; Guardians dueled. Although I would like to say that there are some heavy alternatives to counter those feelings of discontent. Having been a loyal Guardian since the darkness first showed its face to us on September 9, 2014, would it not be in your best interest to pave the way for Guardians that follow in our footsteps? You have already procured your voice here on the forums, meaning that you now have a presence, and with your experience comes credibility as an instructor forged in light. And for more competitive Guardians, that are at the same point in their journey as you are, brings upon my encouragement to better yourself in the Crucible. If you have never checked out the data that Guardian.gg has to offer I would highly suggest that you do! See how you face up against Guardians that are placed in a similar division, figure out your ELO rating in Trials, find a group and conquer the battlefield in attempt to become the toughest shot, longest-lived, Guardian that Shaxx or Saladin have to brag about. And if none of those options seem to appease you then there is always the option of smoking a bowl, blasting some dubstep, and heading into Patrol. What I mean by all of this is: Do not give up, you have come this far and there is much more to fight for, for our system. The darkness is still upon us. Get back out there, Guardian. We need you.

This is why i havent played in 2 weeks. Im done with trying to get double rng on loot drops and play a game with absolutey next to no progression with countless of hours invested. Not to mention the lack of creativity in the design team to reskin old weapons. Im enjoying fallout 4 quite a lot :)

We all saw the promise it had in year 1 and hoped they'd nail it in year 2, unfortunately they made it even worse. No more cash from me guys i gave them more than enough chances.

Destiny is also taking a back seat for me as well. Its been fun , but theres too many games out now & also coming soon. I highly doubt ill even buy destiny2. This game needs a DRASTIC change.
