Died to a y1? Your problem, not mine.
What's with all these kids trying to dictate what guns others should use? Currently y1 guns are still at max potential only in crucible and whatever classic strike playlist there is now. There's nothing stopping you from pulling out your y1 guns and trying to combat mine but for some reason you're too caught up on pride to realize that y1 guns outclass y2 in just about every category.
Feel free to try and prove me wrong. Show me a gun that's best in it's class and I'm pretty sure I can offer a y1 gun that outclasses it.
Edit: ok since people are too stupid to realize what point I'm making let me reiterate it but a bit more simple. [b]YOU HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO CHOOSE YOUR OWN GUNS TO USE IN CRUCIBLE SO WHY DONT YOU LET OTHER PEOPLE EXERCISE THIS RIGHT AS WELL INSTEAD OF BITCHING ABOUT IT. [/b] hell, I'll even provide an example with the old meta. Remember when last word and thorn were king? Well it was always your choice to equip one or you could try and compete with inferior guns. I actually loved to use no land against TLW users but if I found out the user is absolutely outclassing me then I usually switched to my own TLW and tried to compete.

Still use a year one red hand and thorn, just like these handcannons because they have better range then most year 2 cannons

I have half my vault full of year one weapons and I will continue to use them.

I'm with you bro. I only use certain y2 weapons in pve, I stick with y1 for pvp because y2 just don't convince me enough to use. They feel clunky and don't deliver results

Almost always when I play against level 40s in classic crucible, I beat them while being in the top 3. I only CAN use year one legendarys.

In terms of Y1 weapons I could be using, I'm very likely the top MIDA Multitool user on PS4, I say that from the 200 leaderboard slot for precision kills and over 1000 throwing knife headshot kills. I was literally wrecking everybody with MIDA in Y1. Suros, Vex, Thorn, TLW, [b]What is Meta? I run MIDA[/b] that gun earned me wrecking balls and was literally the perfect sniper syndrome canceler. But I can't use it where it matters so why run around using the op tool? It's purposeless. If you wanna have fun go into a classic playlist and equip Y1 gear. If one of these annoying scrubs is going to run Y1 gear in normal cruci however, I equip MIDA which has now been ascended to god tier, thus making me almost entirely unkillable by Y2 meta weapons besides maybe hawkmoon/fc But I won't spend that game wrecking the other people using normal weapons in the lobby. You better believe that I'm going to spawn f[i]u[/i]ck you with MIDA and a sniper until you leave my lobby and get with the times.
