I've still got a ton of old weapons.
But here's the best proof I've got: My most used weapon type is the AR from Vanilla destiny, before anything was done to them. Shadow Price carried me through a lot of content.

Same lol I wondered how I got so, so many kills with ARs since I don't remember using one after Dark Below And then it hit me, the loot cave. Also, they were the best for everything else
