More so than any other Raid so far this one exposes players who just aren't that great.
There's nowhere to hide boys.
Everyone has a job.
Everyone needs to STAY ALIVE(they have the hardest time with this one)
Everyone needs to think on their feet.
Everyone needs to DPS.
Everyone needs to use their supers and abilities intelligently and to the benefit of the team as a whole.
There are honestly some players who may want to consider skipping this hard raid or at the very least ONLY run it with Warlock Self-Rez so you have an extra chance or two when you mess up.
Seriously, consider it. Some of you are making this A LOT harder for other people when you join a group.
EDIT: A lot of you are mistakenly assuming I am some sort of Rage Monster who yells at his team mates, singles them out right away, and kicks people. Nothing could be further from the truth.
I patiently explain every step, try to help my team mates, ask them what gear they might have and make suggestions, ask them if they would feel more comfortable in a different role, I try new tactics that other teams run, I play for hours with the same team even when we are struggling, and I HAVE NEVER KICKED ANYONE IN MY DESTINY CAREER.

this raid weeds out the weak, seperates the men from the boys for sure

Editado por SHAKENBAKE393: 10/30/2015 2:51:50 AMThis one is definitely hurting some egos. My first run up, I acknowledged that my gear wasn't good enough and I bowed out at Oryx. People get too proud or cocky and won't admit when they are messing up or simply ill-equipped. I've had many groups break apart over hurt feelings because somehow owning up to repeated mistakes is sacrilege. It's hard to find a team that will have fun AND be honest. If you find yourself making the same mistake over and over, then you need to drop out and give it a rest. People get way too touchy. However, not everyone is this way. Yesterday I played with a guy who was slipping up a lot, but he apologized and acknowledged it. He said he would leave if he kept doing it. Ironically, the group ultimately broke up because another guy wouldn't stop arguing over his own mistakes. I'd put an hour timer on the Oryx fight. If you get to an hour, then your team is simply not working right and you gotta make peace with it. It sucks to be the weak link, but don't be a douche about it.

6 RespuestasI'll read past DPS if you can prove to me you know what it stands for. Because "Everyone needs to dps." Isn't grammatically correct.

The more frustrating players are the ones that don't/can't do the torn relic jumping. And those players even go into HM with the same attitude/excuses. I haven't completed HM myself, and at this point I don't even bother. Tried the socalled "no knight" strategy with groups that praises the strategy. But they have never actually tried it. Then tries it and fails hard. HM is actually pretty hard for alot of people...
-
2 RespuestasSo. Much. Yes. In fact, normal mode exposed bad players. Turns out a lot of people can't even jump... or run in circles... or have enough skill to score a couple headshots on an ogre. You can imagine my frustration in hard mode. It's not even that hard! Just jump on your platform (platforms if torn), shoot orge a couple times, jump to next spot depending on strat, shoot a few more things a couple times IN A FRIKEN INVINCIBILITY SHIELD, go run to orge light and fast count to four, run back to safe zone, shoot oryx, run around in circles just because or fight echo (only kinda hard part honestly), repeat as necessary until done. IT'S NOT ROCKET SCIENCE YOU SCRUBS!!! Final note, you will notice I do not have a hard mode emblem. If I did I'd be wearing it. Not my fault. A team is only as strong as it's weaker half. I've never been a part of that weaker half that takes turns dying while RUNNING AROUND IN CIRCLES!!!!

2 RespuestasI always get in a group that breezes through up to Oryx but then I spend the next two hours shuffling to find a competent group to actually beat him.

I stopped raiding partly because of this. Doing kings fall hm it was me and one or two others just doing the same part of the raid over and over again waiting until finally we had a run where everyone stayed alive and did enough dps. The same ppl dying over and over again gets really frustrating and they get agitated when you ask what's going wrong. I decided -blam!- it, the loot isn't worth this frustration everytime and started ignoring invites.

4 RespuestasThat's like saying "You aren't very good at your job, you should probably just quit" to someone who wants to do good. Practice, yo'. I get irritated when people don't ask for help or advice and blame everyone else, but if you just genuinely haven't gotten enough practice in then you can fix that...

1 RespuestaIt's PVE haha. You're shooting the same damn things that walk the same exact pattern over and over again. Any bad player with RNG drops to boost his light level can make it through the raid. All they have to do is jump on a platform counter clockwise and run to a bomb.
-
1 RespuestaAfter the fourth time of forgetting which way was counter-clockwise, it was time for little Timmy to have a break from the hard raid.
some people are honestly just terrible I can fully back you up on this one.
I don't need them exposed, I already know who in my friend group is gonna slack once they eventually get there. That said, I need to do normal a couple more times to get there. My luck with 310s from engrams has been dismal.
-
1 RespuestaThis is pretty close to the truth and this also applied to level 35 poe before ttk came out.
-
I haven't done the hard raid yet as I'm still 303 and I'll get my touch of malice next week but from my point of view the normal raid hides the weaker players but maybe the hard one exposes a lot more. I have to find out myself tho
-
7 RespuestasI think the hard raid is exposing way more d-bags than bad players.

I play by a certain set of rules. If you die first twice in a row and we end in a wipe. Then you will be booted. No exceptions goes for me as well but I almost never died and when I do it definitely won't happen again for a long time. As soon as I bring up those rules people play more attentively and focus on not dying. O understand dying once to something out of your control. But twice? Back to back? No.
-
"A lot of you are mistakenly assuming I am some sort of Rage Monster who yells at his team mates, singles them out right away, and kicks people." This is me because half you people are terrible
-
You could cover for average players prior to this by others picking up slack. No longer, and that doesn't make for a fun game.
-
2 RespuestasYesterday, my team and I defeated oryx on hard for the first time. It was our first attempt. We communicated but not as much as we did on other checkpoints. As long as people know the normal routine and can shoot an extra night it's very easy

I personally have done well, except for golgoroth fight. I couldn't stop having tunnel vision for the life of me and kept blowing up my teammates in the pool. Don't know if I was tired or not, but I had to have done it 4 or 5 times in the 1 raid. Got to a point that my friend kept saying don't blow us up over and over.

1 RespuestaI have some fcukwit who couldn't stay alive long enough to start the sequence on the war priest. When he finally did, he started shooting the adds even though he didn't have the aura. FML. It took a good 45 mins to spoon feed this noob enough information/direction to complete the priest. When we started collecting the loot, the noob received an exotic item which didn't show up in his inventory, it was then he owned up to never doing the raid before. Apparently his brother ranked up his characters by completing the raid for him. Why enter the hard mode without a clue and waste my time in the process?!? What a complete c-u-n-t!!
