This Hard Raid exposes bad players
More so than any other Raid so far this one exposes players who just aren't that great.
There's nowhere to hide boys.
Everyone has a job.
Everyone needs to STAY ALIVE(they have the hardest time with this one)
Everyone needs to think on their feet.
Everyone needs to DPS.
Everyone needs to use their supers and abilities intelligently and to the benefit of the team as a whole.
There are honestly some players who may want to consider skipping this hard raid or at the very least ONLY run it with Warlock Self-Rez so you have an extra chance or two when you mess up.
Seriously, consider it. Some of you are making this A LOT harder for other people when you join a group.
EDIT: A lot of you are mistakenly assuming I am some sort of Rage Monster who yells at his team mates, singles them out right away, and kicks people. Nothing could be further from the truth.
I patiently explain every step, try to help my team mates, ask them what gear they might have and make suggestions, ask them if they would feel more comfortable in a different role, I try new tactics that other teams run, I play for hours with the same team even when we are struggling, and I HAVE NEVER KICKED ANYONE IN MY DESTINY CAREER.

11 RespuestasThere are no bad players in a raid. It is the responsibility of those that play it first to pass on the info and take others through the mechanics and more importantly be paitient while they learn. Our raid team is the same group of players every week and we showed lower light players how to do the easy stuff first when they were lower light e.g. gaze runner on golgoroth. Some people make me laugh with these posts.

I am one of those players, it is always hard for me, I am getting better every time thanks to my great team members. You are absolutely right, in this raid I have had to really pull my weight and every time we run it I learn more. This is by far the best raid, because of this. I love it.

Agreed! Knew many scrubby players who got carried through vog HM and didn't need to do much. Crota could be soloed so to be carried and then not do much with a gally wasn't too hard. This one can't be easily done with less than 6 ppl. Certain parts at the start sure can, but team mates are needed and certainly to stay alive.

2 RespuestasAgreed. VoG HM, it was easy for a scrubby to just do what the others do. Same with Crota, aside from the swordbearer evryone else's jobs were the same. Stay alive and shoot rockets. Everyone has a separate and equally important job now, especially so at Oryx. Although I will admit my group has had a fair share of runs ruined by the fact that one or more of the bombs apparently doesn't detonate... Or at least, that's what I'm hearing.

Yep, its amazing how many people can't stay alive on a plate. Really, crouch down , hide, and jump up to the Daughter platform when runner has the spark, stand in a bubble. God for bid you have to kill a knight if you do it that way. Lol

It literally hasn't been one day over a week since Hardmode has been out. It's not that hard either once people start getting higher gear people will be ran thru Hardmode too.

I'll agree. At low light lvls its easy to get picked off but the worst players get picked off allot more often.

I pretty much agree with this post. But i would dare to say that it is possible to have 5 good players carrying 1 poor player, even totems.

2 RespuestasSounds like you want the following. 1. Pull your own wait. 2. If shit hits the fan and you are 60% complete with a fight don't give up and use every option you have and try to pull off the boss kill in the last sec. The best is when you boss dies but you all dide but there is a no scrub warlock that can still res. and u win. (This is only really up to oryx, then you need the 6 to win) 3. It's ok to do a stupid mistake once in awhile but every other fight does not count as a stupid mistake. You just suck scrub. O and by the way ik, Ik. I have not killed oryx on hm. I've been on a work trip. My crew has and on Sunday night I will kill the -blam!-. If you don't believe me check my stats on Monday. I will have kiled him by then. I have killed the other bosses and my points are valid.

It's sad but true. I've seen friends that helped carry me through year 1 (I joined when they released Crota) and they simply cannot handle this new content

Not really, with in a week or two anybody will be able to get through it if they are good are have to be carried through. It was the same way with Athon and Crota. Oryx will be no different.
