More so than any other Raid so far this one exposes players who just aren't that great.
There's nowhere to hide boys.
Everyone has a job.
Everyone needs to STAY ALIVE(they have the hardest time with this one)
Everyone needs to think on their feet.
Everyone needs to DPS.
Everyone needs to use their supers and abilities intelligently and to the benefit of the team as a whole.
There are honestly some players who may want to consider skipping this hard raid or at the very least ONLY run it with Warlock Self-Rez so you have an extra chance or two when you mess up.
Seriously, consider it. Some of you are making this A LOT harder for other people when you join a group.
EDIT: A lot of you are mistakenly assuming I am some sort of Rage Monster who yells at his team mates, singles them out right away, and kicks people. Nothing could be further from the truth.
I patiently explain every step, try to help my team mates, ask them what gear they might have and make suggestions, ask them if they would feel more comfortable in a different role, I try new tactics that other teams run, I play for hours with the same team even when we are struggling, and I HAVE NEVER KICKED ANYONE IN MY DESTINY CAREER.

I remember playing hard the first weekend and there was a guy that was the drip of cum out of my dick. He was so cocky and would tell everyone what to do and if someone messed up he would say that he can't play with retards anymore. Long story short, he -blam!-ed up at the totem shits and he was kicked.

8 RespuestasIf anyone needs an experienced raider with a 313 Titan and 312 Warlock, add me on PS4: ViTAl-CORROSIVE I've beaten oryx on Hard multiple times with multiple groups. Have good Raiders on friends list as well.

I don't care how good you are if you isolate divide a group of players YOU are the cause. Your polarizing attitude causes a very very real division in the subconscious framework of the team. I can help the slowpoke, I can put them in different situations they can deal with better, they can learn if they are comfortable with everyone... The self important hero out to expose the "bad" players? That guy is as lost as a teleported team with no-one outside. I've raided with all kinds and the solution is to be rid of that jerk... Because he's going to do it to someone else the second anything goes wrong... It puts everyone on edge and out of sync with each other. Like nothing will go wrong in a hard raid lmfao What's worse is it is never his fault if he screws up and dies. When I lead the raid there is only one rule... There is no looking for blame, shït happens welcome to the raid. If you attack a teammate you will get booted with extreme f*cking prejudice. Edit: Xbox one players: op has challenged us to clear hard mode. Message me there after adding me gt: aether seraph

youre basically right. hard mode requires everyone to be on point. But depending on how much health the boss has (besides oryx) you can overcome a few deaths. Ive been part of a 3man victory over warpriest and golgoroth. just gotta sack up if someone (or half your team) dies.
-
The raid isn't difficult if everyone knows what they're doing and callout. You have to be able to react to your surroundings and don't die from stupid shit. Too many times I've been in groups in lfg where a guy dies from the Knights in the beggining over and over again. Too many times had people die in first round because they weren't "paying attention". I could go on and on but it's all about Self awareness. And before anyone says anything about me being an Elitist 315, I'm not. I play with others who do the stuff above and I try to help them see what they're doing wrong in a nice way. (As politely as possible) I'm a chick so I usually don't get yelled at for giving advice. XD

You are right, it exposes elitist -blam!-s like you who consider themselves to be on Mt Olympus and everyone is a scrub with no shot at improving. Yes it exposes bad players indeed.

7 RespuestasEditado por puplehaz420x: 10/28/2015 4:37:03 PMPlan and simple its not for newbs. Know your role, keep up dps and dont freakin die. I wont even start a group now unless people have there ascendant shader. I tried calmly for 2 weeks trying to teach people. I admit at first its kinda complicated but if you read the description and watch videos of how to beat it then people wont have to keep explaining how the raid works. Once i found a team of people who can do it had no problem completing 3 hard raids in a day. For peeps who actually want to complete be picky about your fireteam and dont waste peoples time if you dont understand a part, research the part. If you cant handle your role excuse yourself from the group. People will be happy if you explain your the weak point and get outta the group and research.

6 RespuestasIt's not bad players. It's players who's attention span and memory are terrible. How do people forget the mechanics and what to do? I remembered everything after my first time.

this guy has a good point..

3 RespuestasMy fire team ran out of time the day it came out. We started late bs by the time we hit the Warpriest people were done. That said, I didn't know (at 299 light) that we were doing hard mode. The longest we spent anywhere was the ships (there's always one who sucks at it). We had one who barely ran normal and me, well I hadn't beat Oryx at that time due to sh*tty randoms dropping at that point. I can't speak for anything past the Warpriest but up to that point, OP is incorrect. The only thing it exposes is your teams inability to adapt when there's a death. HM is easy. If you're having a difficult time, OP, I suggest you get a different team or evaluate yourself.

Honestly, it isn't worth it anymore, IMO. Why? In the old system, once you got your gear you KNEW you'd be at max level shortly. Now? You can run the raids dozens of times, and still not get 10 pieces of 320 gear. It's a worse grind than ever before, and getting to 320 light isn't really a worthwhile goal to me. When you went from light 33 to 34, or 29 to 30, there was a noticeable spike in damage output and resistance. With the new system, it's not that noticeable at +\-10 light difference. I just don't feel like running the raid repeatedly hoping to get ten pieces of different gear at 320. I may just sit this one out.

4 RespuestasI remember when hard Crota came out and idiots like op would post things like this saying only the best players will beat it and wear glohoo. A month later everyone had glohoo keep thinking you're a special snowflake if that makes you feel better.

3 RespuestasYou are 100% correct. It just doesn't make sense how bad some people are at understanding their role in the fight. I've been joining Random groups on LFG sites and talk about a shit show. We can beat orxy with my normal group w/o too much problem. With these random people I've spent 2 hours just on the fight alone. It's amazing!! I'm getting to the point where I kinda understand the people that put up those 'you will be kicked' post. They don't want to waste their time doing something that shouldn't take more then 20 mins. (Orxy cp hard mode). I've spent at least 10 this week helping people out....I'm just trying to give back to the community but what's the point when its filled with weed heads that can't understand counter clock wise!?!

8 RespuestasThere are always those two guys who die to acolyte eyes and complain about them. I you know acolyte eyes give you trouble and come from acolytes, why do you not kill them first?

Yo I was doin normal yesterday for fun, and I was joking around at the first part and this five year old squeaker threatens to kick me. I'm like bro chill it's just normal. Then he goes on to call me a stubborn asshole. I remembers this and left right when we were doing oryx :)

3 RespuestasHavent done it yet and am wondering if my light is high enough.

Yes it leaves me exposed. To the point I get embarrassed.

I was doing Oryx yesterday and the whole time this one warlock kept dying but refused to switch to sunsinger and kept playing as a stormcaller so he got the boot and then we beat Oryx :D

11 RespuestasThere are no bad players in a raid. It is the responsibility of those that play it first to pass on the info and take others through the mechanics and more importantly be paitient while they learn. Our raid team is the same group of players every week and we showed lower light players how to do the easy stuff first when they were lower light e.g. gaze runner on golgoroth. Some people make me laugh with these posts.
