5 Reason You Think Sunbreaker Is OP

I'm a titan user and I'd like to see your 5 points on why Sunbreakeris OP no salty people. EDIT 1: Wow loving all these replies they will defiantly come in handy in the future oh and guardians there is a new gun to fear in the crucible.

    • 1) Too Much Armour 2) Ranged Heal on Kill without exotic slot taken 3) Too many hammers considering your mobility during No more than those really. Sunbreaker is a class you use when you want to relax in Mayhem PVP I believe and if there are more sunbreakers on the opposing team than your team you are going to lose MOST of the time.. Not all the time though. Most of all the armour needs to go.. That's my only big no no. Keep all your hammers and mobility and even your heal on kill... But your armour no!

      • They have 1)to much armor 2)to much agility 3)to much range 4)they should not be able to throw that many hammers 5)they can regenerate all there health from a single kill.

        I dont have 5 reasons i have one. The instant regen and insane damage reduction combo. I feel that if you have the health regen perk active you shouldn't have the massive damage reduction. It should reduce you down to golden gun levels.

        • I just think they should be one shot by a high impact sniper, besides that it's perfectly fine. I do think it lacks a sense of urgency when using it, but it's whatever.

            • I think an easy fix would be the dmg resistance doesn't apply to precision hits and add an internal CD to cauterize

                    1) Damage reduction enough to survive a sniper headshot (I'm talking 1000YS type, I don't even touch my beloved Hereafter). 2) Roaming Ranged super (in that regard I agree Gunslinger is OP) 3) Better than every other super by a lot in kill potential. Argue with that you may try, but futile would it be. 4) Nowhere near bad overall subclass without super as every Titan brings up as a point (Fusion Grenade + Heal after its kill? Ridiculous. Incendiary is one of the best grenades too). 5) Come on, 7 Nova Bombs with roam and resistance to withstand a -blam!-ing GG?

                    Personally, I feel like Sunbreakers are the only class that has their cake and eats it too. Crazy dps, regen, loads more health. I fell like they should die to a rocket and a headshot.

                    • Don't need to give you 5. I'll give you one, the fact that I actually created a titan just to be competitive in crucible. Hammers beat gold gun, bubble shield, nova bomb, storm caller, titan smash, blade dancer, and sunsinger. Insane damage resistance coupled with health regent means I literally have to do nothing. Its the only crucible class that I could literally be asleep at the wheel and do well with. Every other class takes timing and strategy, but you can literally walk around throwing hammers and be effective. It really is ridiculous.

                        My titan can get healed from his super and have tracking and 6 hammers that all do way more damage than the comparitive grenades or golden gun. I feel like I am doing something wrong when I play him.

                      • Roaming, range, large exploding hammers, tracking, tank like health, health regen, super long lasting super. That's 7. Give them 3 hammers and no health regen and all let you keep the rest

                          You need 5? Well there's more than 5 here from all the replies.. I'll give my 5 too tho. I main a hunter and can consistently be at the top of the leader board as a titan. Shouldn't happen.. Cauterize triggers way to much. Or too fast. Pretty much both. Way to much health. Getting 4 kills + ever HoS is dumb. Imo It's a really really long super. Long enough to kill a team in skirmish and kill them again. That much prox on a hammer is a lil to much. A monkey with down syndrome can use HoS. Dumb down even like 2 of these. And it won't be bad at all. It's just to much with all of it. Good bye I will play halo. Hopefully I never comeback to destiny. Probably will, but I hope not.

                        • I main a titan and its bc were so hard to kill during super its more balanced but it will be fixed weather anyone likes it out not let the salt fly but will fav this post so i can come back street the fix to say i told u so lol anyone who thinks its fine is lying to them selves lol and anyone who believes bungie is gonna leave it the way it is belongs in the stupid category lmfao

                        • 1) health regen when you get a kill (only op because its any solar ability kill if it was just super it woukd be fine) 2) they dont even have to see you they can throw hammers across the map and get kills while hunters and warlocks actually have to time their supers and actually have to see them 3) tracking with explosive prye is a little annoying when idiotic teammates dont know how to run away and i die from explosive damage 4) can take a golden gun shot and walk away 5) can take a rocket while in super and not die

                          • The duration is way to long first of all it lasts 10-15 seconds if you continuously spam hammers but arcblade lasts 10 seconds IF you don't swing at all like what is with that also why does it have higher armor buff than a arcblade while it's a ranged super and arcblade is cqc. Why does it also regen health on kill, sure hungering blade but that's only for arcblade and blink strike which are both cqc while cauterize is any solar ability which makes it superior in all ways to hungering blade

                          • I personally think that the biggest issue is Cauterize. Lifesteal proccing on a ranged and spammable super, has to be one of the worst designs in terms of available counterplay, I have seen in a long time. The second biggest issue is very probably the damage resistance. Not dying to a high impact sniper rifle or golden gun shot should simply not happen.
