I'm a titan user and I'd like to see your 5 points on why Sunbreakeris OP no salty people.
EDIT 1: Wow loving all these replies they will defiantly come in handy in the future oh and guardians there is a new gun to fear in the crucible.

3 RespuestasEditado por Smough: 10/27/2015 3:04:42 PMNo salty people? K. Kills with grenades, melee, and super fully regenerate health. Titan sunbreakers have 55% armor increase, and you know what else has 55% armor increase? Radiant skin sunsingers, and it's not even part of the main super, it's a perk that you can choose. Already that sounds pretty bad, doesn't it? A super with health regen and highest armor of any super in the game? Wow. Hammers do the same, if not more damage than golden guns, but you don't get three shots... No, you can get EIGHT FREAKING FLAMING THOR HAMMERS! Hammers can track their target and with my experience using them and getting killed by them they also have some type of built in proximity, and a blast radius. Did I mention the health regeneration? Oh yeah, I did. Can't think of a fifth one, need to check the subclass again...

13 RespuestasEditado por Jok3rsWild: 10/27/2015 6:57:08 PMIll bite. Also ill premise this with the fact that I am only speaking about crucible, dgaf about balance in pve, how hard you kill mobs doesnt affect me at all. By definition a weapon or ability is thought to be over powered if when balanced against another ability it has a clear advantage or strength with no corresponding disadvantage. By this definition Hammer of Soul, and by extension sunbreakers who have access to hammer of soul, are over powered. Here is why. The "super formula" A pattern that all other supers follow. Is tipped in favor of hammer of sol for no real reason. 1: The formula check one. Is the super precision aimed or aoe? If i is single target ie golden gun blade dance then you get multiple uses of the super to offset the fact with the abilities requirement to aim will only net you one (or less if you aim poorly) kill per use. 1a. If the ability is aoe, ie nova bomb fist of havok, where you generally just have to point the ability in the correct direction and anyone near by the area will die then you get one shot. This shot can multi kill. 1b. I would lump Hammer of soul in with nova bomb in that the hammers track, and do not require a direct hit to kill, making multi killing possible and bad aim forgivable. Therefore it should get 1 shot. You could agrue that multi killing is very unlikely with it because although the aoe radius is forgiving it isnt really large. So then I could see giving it 3-4 shots to be on par with golden gun. It in fact has 6-7 shots, which is about double what makes sense. 2: Damage reduction. If an ability is melee, ie requires you to go from where you are to very close physical proximity of where your target is you get damage reduction while doing it. If you are locked into an animation you get a smaller reduction for the short duration of some of the animation. If your super is ranged you get no damage reduction excluding a short blerp of it if your animation locked (ie cant side step jump or do anything else to keep yourself alive.) 2a Hammer Of Soul is ranged, and does not animation lock, so by that logic it should give no damage reduction. What it in fact does is give an insanely large amount of damage reduction. 3: The healing... No real president here. Honestly seams like an unintended interaction between the perk and the super. Getting a kill with the supers solar damage somehow triggers the perk that should trigger when you get a solar burn kill, and proceeds to rapidly heal your health and armor simultaneously resulting in what is generally full health, but is at least half hp even when standing on a warlock grenade taking constant damage every second. Combining that rapid heal with the built in damage reduction makes sun breakers extremely hard to kill. Especially when compared to every other super in the game. 4: Hammer of Sol is basically the positive aspects of almost every other super combined into one. It is extremely hard if not almost impossible to out play. 5: You might try to argue that sunbreakers are some how weak outside of hammer of sol. You have no leg to stand on with this argument. They have great grenades. Their melee does very good damage and has a dot, it has a low cd, and can increase/reduce damage its targets damage. Their jump is pretty strong, catapult skiing is real. Yes im sorry that sunbreakes dont have blink, but neither do alot of other specs and their supers arnt insanely broken to compensate for them not having a nitch movement ability. They also have high base armor and are able to spec for high armor and high regen, the best 2 pvp stats. Maybe if sunbreakes had no grenade and only did 75% damage with regular weapons or had to play with one hand off the controller you could argue that their super is balanced and fine.

Compare it to GG Golden Gun: +OHK +Range +Easy to aim -No damage reduction allowing you to easily be killed if you are caught out of position -Lasts shorter than HoS -No health regen -No tracking -No explosive shots -3 shots only Hammer of Sol: +Large damage reduction +7 shots +Tracking +Health regen +Lasts longer then GG +OHK +Range +Easy to aim (Don't give that "It has travel time and drop" BS. That's like saying grenades and horseshoes rockets took skill to aim) +Grenades and Horseshoes + Explosive shots (Akin to rocket launcher) +More damage then a rocket launcher +Overshield with sunspots -there are no negatives to HoS. Please, tell me how it's NOT op

1 Respuesta- 1 hit kill (not so bad on it's own) - Tracking aka "SOL aim bot" (okay, now it's pretty bad) - Massive over shield AND health regen (how one sided can a fight be) - Kills through solid objects and walls - The sheer amount of DPS you need to kill one of these f*ckers. They can pretty much survive a direct rocket.I know from experience. But my biggest problem, is that people defend that shit and say it's balanced. For PvE yeah, it's perfect. Lots of fun to use and overdue for titan to have a good offense. PVP however is so broke it's not funny.

1 RespuestaI main a Titan, check my stats. It has to much armor. Other than that, its fine. Give it Sunsinger quality armor.

Just needs a little less damage resistance tbh #BanterWithTheLads

Editado por Raider TCK: 10/27/2015 11:11:20 PMI'm not salty as destiny has never been balanced. However the Titan is op. Again, not salty as I only really play rumble where I don't consider them to be over powered. Each class has something they are really good at. I mean with hunters it's speed and mobility. Titan sunbreakers have the best super as it has the best defensive and regenerative abilities alongside the best offensive capability. It makes them overpowered in OBJECTIVE based game modes ONLY. The reason is in rumble or clash? Just run away and hide when you hear a sunbreaker as its the only super that can NOT be challenged. However when it comes to its passive abilities it's just average. That's fine in rumble or clash as even if they get 3-4 kills it's not going to change the course of the game. In rift and salvage (control to a lesser extent) it will cost you the game to run.

5 Respuestas55% damage reduction Ranged 1 hit kills Health regeneration Splash damage Roaming super

3 RespuestasThe only possibly way for titans to get max hammers is if he activates stays still and tosses all hammers in one spot. The amount of time it takes to maybe get to someone will take away to hammers right away waste 2-3 seconds and 1 hammer is gone. Woah big deal so they could possibly get 4-5 hammers if they use more hammer perk and 3-4 give or take 1 hammer mostly it takes. Unless they are really good and activate in a perfect spot with a non aiming team so he can lob 7 slow hammers at you while standing still. Then you and your team are at fault, not the super

8 RespuestasWhen I can kill 3 opponents with my hammer in skirmish, walk around a few secs, and then kill another person as they spawn, that is OP.
-
10 Respuestas55% damage reduction. One hit tracking mini nova bombs. Full health regen on grenade melee and super kills. Cant one hit snipe with high impact sniped. Two shot gg needed at close range
-
1. 100% damage reduction 2. 100% damage reduction 3. 100% damage reduction 4. 100% damage reduction 5. I actually don't mind it

2 Respuestas1:Regen perk regen's health and shield at the same time. 2:Armor stat buff while super is active is as bad as og vanilla Bladedancers, if not more. 3: The time. Someone checked and it's over 20 secods or something... Not okay. I dont mind the number of hammers, but the amount of time it's active is a bit much. Bump to meet bladedancer time. 4: make it first person. Golden gun is 1st person ranged roaming super. Sunbreaker should be too. It hard to follow the "get em from behind" advice if they see you behind to spin and clobber ya, when you have time to maybe get two melees in. Yes you could shotgun, but not everyone runs shotgun all the time in crucible. There shouldnt be a situational forced meta just to counter sunbreakers. Yes, bladedancer is in third person, but they're melee based, like swords. Makes sense and is actually practical for them. For SB, it's an unneeded advantage. 5: nerf shouldercharge
jk, i can't find a fifth at the moment, but those 4 are the most consistent issues. I understand the whole "snipers don't one shot bladedancer/novabomb/FoH/stormtrance" but remember, bladedancer does need some armor to get in close, and nova/FoH are single use supers. They need armor to finish performing their attack. Stormtrance i feel needs a teeny tiny armor decrease while active (from its crrent stat). GoldenGun, and Radiance are both roaming, and can get single sniped.
While on the topic of supers, self rez should be invulnerable until your revive animation is finished.

5 Respuestas1- Higher base armor increase than any other Super, so can't one shot headshot with a sniper 2- Has more shots than a Golden Gun (think the max is six or seven) 3- Hammers have large blast radius 4- Not as hard to hit people out of air as Titans lead you to believe 5- Can tank a Golden Gun, which is thee Super Counter
-
They can survive a high impact sniper headshot. Makes it 2 sniper shots to head They have health regen per kill. They grenade & horseshoes for hammers. They basically have tracking. Too much armor/damage resistance in super. I can go on n on but that's 5

2 RespuestasSUBCLASS PROS: Best def buff of any super (55% def increase = win against nearly everything) Is a mobile super with a ranged, up to 7x OHK hammer tosses Option have the hammers track enemies Hammers can cause crazy AoE damage Options to either regen health or have overs SUBCLASS CONS: Hammers are not the easiest to aim (there is a slight learning curve)

2 RespuestasThey completely RUIN nightstalkers but do not have the decency to nerf sunbreakers. Time to throw a chair.

4 RespuestasEditado por RainingSky4: 10/27/2015 4:22:03 PMBest armor(2 sniper headshots) Best recovery(heal all heal on hammer kills, melee kills, Grenades kills) Best agility(fastest class) More damage than gg(can one shot sunbreakers) And ranged.
-
Only one. Both cauterize and increased Armor can be used at once. One needs to be toned down.
-
I have to disagree. I was 1 shotting sun breakers with GG yesterday. Gotta admit it's hard to kill them without a super, but it's also hard to kill sunsingers, storm callers, blade dancers, And Titans inside WoDs... More like NOP.

1 RespuestaEditado por Meek Owlet: 10/27/2015 7:07:33 AMThere's many reasons,I main my Titan but I can agree it's broken,1 (can survive a golden gun shot) 2 (can heal all health with 1 kill when using cauterize) 3 (can throw way to many hammers with forge master) ever thing else I could say (witch I can) would be opinion or not just sunbreaker only,it should be balanced because it's a straight upgrade to golden gun,not Hating.
-
1. too much Range 2. too much Armor 3. too many Hammers 4. Health regen upon kill 5. too much Speed ...overall, every Super in the game has its weakness, apart from Sunbreakers they combine the best of all other Supers I'm not saying it's OP as I myself have killed dozens of Sunbreakers, however it is the strongest Super compared to any other available definitely needs tweaking in order to be brought on par with the remaining ones

That fire is just Too Damn Hot.

1 RespuestaInstant regen is insane. That's really it
