Just for the record, I do like the game, this post is not meant to complain.
I just don't agree with everything they have done post-ttk
its a concern we should discuss and made aware of, so we can get a even better game in the end
The more and more i play TTK, the more i get tired of the game.
every damn drop is 26x or 27x, why bother decoding, there is nothing that i can use.
drop rates/rewards are terrible.
only endgame is the raid. (the only place to get higher rated items for infusion)
exotics locked away with too hard quests. (crucible quest, insane Black Spindle)
unlimited grinding. light level on weapons, forcing me to use my highest rated weapons.
looks like the loot system is broken to me. no way Bungie would make it so time consuming/grind to only get low level or the same gear over and over till you had enough and are just pissed off, no game should make you feel like you are losing
but heres the thing, I'm not actually bored of the game it self. but i get fed up at the loot/drop that i feel no reward/winning or progression.
that makes we want to give up.
and there is content that i will never get because its locked behind a unreachable mode i cant do,(not talking about Raids) and that again makes me feel like im losing, and i hate not going to do Destiny 100%
this post has also a lot of relevant discussions:

I would like to keep playing Destiny, but my enjoyment is wearing thin :(
I actually liked Destiny more pre-ttk
Lets take a break and enjoy the festival!

Editado por Bye H8er: 11/12/2015 4:41:47 PMIt's okay to not want to play. It's actually refreshing to throw Destiny in the garbage or trade it in. You can now play a game with content and story. Try it. The rest of us did.

I agree. Bungie also needs to address people being able to do the raid IF they are greater than or equal to recommended light with others. These tards asking for 300+ on normal is getting rediculous. How the hell am I supposed to reach 300+ without doing the raid? Magic?

188 RespuestasEditado por Psychedelia: 10/26/2015 8:38:15 PMTotally. Infusion killed it. Forcing you to use raid gear only is bogus. Using raid gear to infuse other gear to higher levels = using raid gear. Exotics that drop below max are worthless. I'm over it. Edit: to those of you sheep saying infusion is more fun and not at all limiting... How are you enjoying using ALL of the new exotics? I mean you've easily maxed all of them so they can be interchangeable without loosing light levels, right?.. Ohh you haven't? You only have a few exotics you can even use, you say? The fact that these weapons are unusable until maxed and five times more difficult (time consuming) to max makes the game far more limited and narrow. The only place you can freely change weapons is in non-event crucible (irrelevant crucible) and most of them aren't even considered viable options in pvp. Grinding + luck does not = skill. If you tell me to "git gud scrub" I'm preemptively telling you where to shove it.
Big FYI to those who have nothing constructive to say, so you post "well if you hate it so much, just quit and get outta here" - I have quit and I am getting out of here. I just hope that by some miracle, a developer or a community manager will see this and pass along the message along with the number of likes and affirming replies so that it may be tweaked for the better. I'm not the only one hoping for a change here, and for you to try and silence what is swiftly becoming more than half of the user population is just ignorant. I've loved this game and put a LOT into it - More than most, and I hope it gets better i.e. Less grind, more rewarding, etc. I don't enjoy raiding for the sole purpose of getting gear, I want to raid AT MAX LEVEL with the freedom to switch it up and use any weapons and gear I please so that I may get the full experience of the game as it was just a couple months ago. If you can logically refute that, I'll give you a cookie.
Final edit because I'm tired: I appreciate the overwhelming support toward the views I've shared. Those of you in disagreement... I see a clear trend. Anger is that trend. I urge you all to turn the focus to yourselves for a moment. I'm just a random guy on a forum stating an opinion. I have mostly refrained from using directly inflammatory remarks toward any particular group (I know I used the term 'sheep', but if you immediately identify as a 'sheep', you have bugger fish to fry than replying to this post) and yet I still see extreme hostility from those who disagree. Here is your gem... You're not mad at me or those who share my opinion. Why should you be? We're just random people who don't know you and whom you do not know. You're mad at the game you put so much into. So am I. We're on the same team, guy. I don't want to quit because destiny has always sucked. I want to quit because it sucks now. If we yell loud enough, maybe, just maybe, they'll hot fix the suck out of it one patch at a time. And if you're angry just to be angry... See a therapist, cuz ain't nobody got time for that.

1 RespuestaI just wish for another DLC. I'll even take something as short as House of Wolves or Dark Below as long as it gives my Guardian room to grow without immense grinding.

6 RespuestasI went in to TTK believing that we could become "legend" in our own way. The only way to reach high light levels now is to grind the raid over and over again. I really liked HoW method of leveling with etheric light and PoE armor to reach max level. I personally enjoy strikes and patrol the most. Many nights I do not feel like playing with groups and want to spend time enjoying the game solo/matched fireteams. I have hit 300 light on two of my characters expecting that blue engrams would drop 300+ light gear- none in over two weeks time and I play a lot. TTK has locked many exotics and all the most powerful items from solo players. Many of the best quests require fireteams without providing the matchmaking options for them. I love the game, but currently feel that I am making zero progress without raiding (which is fun to a point). I would like to see ways of reaching the higher light without having to go to an outside source (LFG) to participate in activities. I also have seen many comparing this grind to the VOG raid. While I am sure some of the frustrations are the same, for a solo (mainly) player the gap between raiders and non-raiders has widened. VOG max level was 30, and a solo player could reach 29 and not feel like they were way behind raiders. Now it is 20 points behind (2 former levels?). I am not complaining about having to raid, but having that as the only feasible way of reaching upper light levels is frustrating to those of us who like to enjoy the game alone. TTK light level/infusion also takes much more grinding than the VOG ever did because we now have to grind for two extra pieces of gear, and even when we do get them, they almost always are below max level. TL;DR: Would like to see ways for solo players to reach higher (not necessarily the highest) light levels besides the raid.

Editado por Xbox-loading: 11/11/2015 5:48:54 PMWell let me summarize for you my agony this week after I came home ready for the weekly reset: Log in, go straight to do weekly activities. -ttk raid on hard: shards, 1 306 chest (lower than my 314) 1 heavy gun (310, lower tan my 318) Got pissed but went straight to a nightfall since everyone kept saying it was a b!cht this week. Nightfall: 20 fkn strange coins... I should also add I used a three of coins on every encounter... Do all of shaxx's crucible quests for the weekly reward. Crucible: A fkn 301 ghost... I have 4 ghosts higher than than....wtf bungie?

You're not alone. Destiny is completely broken now. Had hopes with the new direction, but sadly it just keeps getting worse. I'm going to finish up a couple of things and then time to move on to some better upcoming titles. It's really a shame. First & last Bungle game for me.

I only play destiny when there are no other games to play. There has been a drought for awhile, but when fallout, halo 5 (which is out already), the division and other games come out. Ill let it collect dust on my shelf.
-
I think we've all felt this way. I left about a month after vanilla, bored with it and ill with the state of the game at the time. Ttk breathed new life in, but I'm getting to that point again, so I feel ya
-
Not gonna lie I've been getting a little burnt out with destiny for a while now but I can't leave, i feel like I'm gonna miss out on something major lol

1 RespuestaIt's refreshing to see a level headed post like this that isn't spewing childish nonsense. Although to a certain extent I disagree, I just wanted to reply thank you for being mature about your concerns. These are the threads that spring dialogue that actually helps the game get better.

2 RespuestasThe light leveling system was a TERRIBLE idea. It has done nothing but create a far worse elitist problem than they already had. If they know what's good for them they will rush a dlc to ditch this. This WILL destroy this game unless something is done.

Honestly im done for a long long while when Fallout comes out. This is all too easy, too grindy, too blocked off. The sandbox of exploration they originally wanted has turned into the box of time gates and walls they decide when to open. Content is locked... and I'm not happy about it. I payed to get access to this stuff, not when they occasionally decide to press a button, but when I complete specific requirements to get it. Sleeper was the biggest disappointment ever.. so easy to get, was time gated... what is next?..

Desticle?

1 RespuestaYeah halo 5 just came out..I'm gonna give that a try for awhile...and I love destiny...I'm just getting tired of beta testing destiny 2

You need to put away those weapons and use Khvostov. Silimars wrath or Arminius-D see gunsmith you have dull ass guns
-
I agree with you. I myself am also growing tired of Destiny. I was hyped to do the raids until I realized Bungie implemented a quadruple RNG to getting loot. You open a chest to get either moldering shards or gear. That's RNG 1. The light level of your gear or weapons. That's RNG 2. The perks of your gear. That's RNG 3. Giving oryx 20 moldering shards and get 2 in return, or doing the Hard raid and not getting a damn thing. That's RNG 4. The gear should be dropping at max light for that event. I shouldn't get a 311 raid sniper for doing hard raid if max is 320. I just think the loot drops were poorly implemented.

Yea iv had enough too. Going to take a break for a while i think
-
Youre burnt out. Take a break. I took the week off destiny last week to play the Witcher 3 and it was awesome. Now I'm refreshed and eager to get back to some destiny pvp.
-
1 RespuestaFallout 4 will fix my Destiny hype hangover.

If your feeling bummed out or burned out just take a break. Tbh i remeber when i started this path i have taken ( first month of release) i straight up played everyday and night and October rolled in and i had to take a month break. I came back in the following month and felt better. I havent felt like that ever again ( i play destiny everyday) but i take a break every now and then if i feel a "burn out" is coming or i feel like i need the break.
