A temporary fix should be applied within a timely manner, not a week. A week is enough time to fix the problem

Everyone here who is saying I'm not a game designer as an argument is retarded lol. you don't need to be a game designer to know how a multi million dollar company should work. Play any game on pc or take blizzard for example. A bug presents itself in world of warcraft and it's patched within a day. Temporarily or indefinitely. You kids who take this week long bullshit for a temporary fix as acceptable behavior are pathetic. You really believe bungie spent longer than 30 minutes adjusting shadowshot to 1 shot? That call should have been made within 24 hours. Then they can use the rest of the next few weeks shifting through their code for a long term solution.

Don't forget that they were split. It's likely only a couple guys are working on the problems. Small little glitches here and there. Nightfall rewards. Shadowshot. People debating on whether or not sunbreaker should be nerfed. People preparing the next batch of Destiny content. How much employees does Bungie consist of? 100? 500? I have no idea. Dtell me. No seriously. Not to mention all the codes and things people have to find just to fix that one tiny thing that went wrong. They believed that with this way, they would likely find it faster and patch it faster. Suffer more over a short period of time? Or suffer less over a long period of time?

It takes 8 hours for 1 of bungies processors to boot up...a lot of time to bug fix...and multiply the time fixing by 4 and that's how long it takes to fix a bug...

1 RespuestaI think the better temporary solution would have been to make the Graviton helmet require lvl 41 and leave the subclass alone. That way people could still use the perk and the helmet couldn't be used as we can't reach lvl 41.

7 RespuestasI guess I have to explain this to the simpletons again. No one is perfect. In order to fix programming, you must identify the issue and rewrite and rework the programming. Which is no simply feat, mind u. They can't go "snip snap it's fixed". It's an entire process and they are doing it now. So as a pseudo fix, they blocked quiver as that was the source of the issue. They are fixing it as we speak. Calm yourself. They had to do something to prevent the glitch. So ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ it's only temporary

I personally think it is faqing amazing how people find these loopholes in the first place. Maybe hire them, they seem to be more motivated than your current testers.

3 RespuestasIt's a lot more complicated than you think. To solve the issue they must weed through thousands of lines of code to find the single line that can be changed to remedy the issue. They should have been able to remove quiver only when wearing that helmet... But, removing it entirely will make it easier to revert back once a final solution is found. Just use a different bow, or sub class... It's really not that big of a deal.

It's easier to fix thing on the reset because the system is already resetting itself so it would be easy to throw in a patch.
