3oc is a waste of strange coins , therefore strange coins are pretty much a waste
So 20 strikes while using a 3oc and still no exotic drop (yawn) , waste of strange coins but really what are they good
For anyway ? To get some horrible crap xur is selling that's the same as the week before , best thing strange coins are for are heavy synth . The amount of boredom this game can bring after only a month of of new release is astounding . Bravo rngesus stingy bludger , please turn some water into wine at least so I can drown my sorrows hahaha p.s I do appreciate the grieve emotion greatly because I get to use it on every aspect of this game lol
Also I must say rngesus is my step dad . I think he despises me and that's why he won't give me any love or attention

4 RespuestasTimer is about 10 minutes. Yesterday I had 8 exotics drop. 7 were 310's. Seems like 3oc is working fine.

Uhhhh to get 310 exotics to infuse into gear that you use most often. I got a 310 zhalo, hawkmoon, invective x 2, and obsidian mind. Those were just my 310's by the way. All of which were used to infuse other gear. I really hated to do that to supercell but I already have my blueprinted copy up to 298, so no biggie.

1 RespuestaI disagree, aside from the few useful, game-changing items Xur may sell, 3oCs (and by extension Strange Coins) are not useless. Quite the contrary; they give you an opportunity to gain a game-changing weapon, or armor piece from a relatively easy boss. Luck, or probability has a lot to do with it. Maybe one person in here has received ~30 exotics from 100 3oCs, and another 1 exotic from 50 3oCs - that is simply RNG at its best (or worst). It sucks to never get anything, but ultimately we didn't have a choice like this before in year 1, did we? I am just thankful I get the chance to get exotics. Just my two cents, or should I say three...

1 RespuestaI was getting one in five before... Now it seem to be one in eight. Not sure if they nerfed the drop rate with the timer addition or not. I'm giving a full strikes worth of time between.

1 RespuestaWhen the nerf hammer rolls in I just stop playing. They lie about the full extent of the nerfs (see original suros nerf) and they lie about the extent of the buffs. Why bother playing right now? I'm not going to waste my 50 strange coins on ToC and play strikes all day for one piece of 290+ gear and a duplicate exotic or helm for a class I don't really play. Too many other great games to play than to sweat this.

Was killing taken champions got one on first kill none on second double drop on third so I'm 3/3 just in 30 mins

I'd say I get an engram every 5/6 times I use 3oC. Got Telesto just yesterday.

So if this 10 minute thing is correct and if you have multiple characters, you may run a strike with one, then switch to second character and go on...

Using 3oC turns every strike into a nightfall.

I've gotten 9 exotics in one day doing a delayed drakis farm. Use 3oC. Kill him and self. Wait 8-10 minutes. Rinse and repeat. To make the wait time go faster, I'm leveling my ps4 character. So after each mission I would switch to Xbox and farm.
