Yes i firmly believe the Traveler came to us knowing it was chased, knowign it needed an army, but that doesnt mean we're evil. We're fighting forces that would kill us, therefore we're good. The Traveler did bring them to us, but not for the intention of killing us, but for the intention of protecting itself. "proxy army" is one that you mention. So for the Black Garden yes they are worshipping, but no they aren't peaceful. As i said it's like you read 4 cards, again in the Books of Sorrow we see that Quria was the Vex mind in control that decided to worship. They stole a Worm, the connection to the Deep, and decided that the Hive God power was what they wanted to obtain. Stealing the Worm, and replicating the Darkness into the Proto-Darkness which is what we fight there, the Black Heart. The Deep Stone Crypt isnt a Guardian (5 grimoire cards, im sorry) it's in the perspective of an Exo. These were originally machines, entirely made to fight, war machines. But along the time-line, heavily suggested in Cayde-6's Journal, Exos were seeded with HUMAN consciousness. Fate of Skolas is just going back to the we're evil to them, but i'd like to call you out again on not actually doing your research because it's apparent and as someone who takes this seriously seeing this is like a slap in the face. The Great Machine is mentioned in more than just those areas. Whirlwind wsa the Darkness, and thanks to other Lore pieces it shows it was actually Oryx's brood that caused it. Okay so based off the Books of Sorrow, it seems that the hive are the ultimate evil in the Universe that we know of. Oryx and his sisters pursued the Traveler because it was the only thing that rivaled them in strength? Traveler seems to be using the tactic of drawing the hive into advanced civilizations in order to weaken them in hopes of one day being able to defeat them. Vex also seem to be fighting against the hive because they're upsetting the balance of the universe and they can't seem to comprehend Oryx's "taken"? I don't fully understand Quria and the copying of the sword logic stuff, it's too much for me just based off the grimoire. But if that's why the Vex are against the Hive, why are the Vex fighting us when we are also trying to get rid of the Hive? I guess The main theory for the Fallen is that they once had the Traveler and the Traveler saw that they were going to lose and left, but were they ever actually attacked by anyone? Now they are just following the Traveler in hopes of getting it back, while also struggling for power within their own Houses. The Cabal.......... WTF do they have to do with any of this? So the Ghosts that the Traveler created in its dying breath (to resurrect light wielding guardians) seems to be the best Strategy the Traveler has came up with so far for fighting against the darkness. But why did it not use something like this earlier? I don't believe that it came up with this on the spot but had been saving it maybe for a race it deemed strong enough. But if it's true that Rasputin kept the Traveler from leaving, that shows the Traveler didn't have faith in us and since it was going to die anyways (I guess from Rasputins attacks) it used its trump card (the ghosts) as sort of just a YOLO thing. Like "well I hope this works" and then died. Basically what I've gotten out of the grimoire and there is still so much that I don't understand. Too many possibilities.

Actually, there's a good reason why we have to kill everything that is darkness, because that's what the darkness wants to do as well, Toland,the shattered said only the most vicious and Ruthless were going to be the winners of the fight.(don't remember the quote, but it's about the three queens and their three kingdoms)

Doesn't really explain why the hive, vex, cabal, and fallen all attack each other. If they're collectively 'Light', wouldn't they all be on the same side? Any way, we'd likely fight them regardless of The Traveller, they're threatening our planet. The Traveller could well be the bad guy, but this is our planet, we're gonna defend from The Fallen, Hive, Vex, and possibly Cabal if they ever figure out how to get off Mars...

Figured it all out. The Traveler is using [b]The Fabian Strategy[/b] It's avoiding direct confrontation in favor of smaller attacks to weaken the Darkness through attrition. The weapon's name is now relevant.

I love the idiots who make theories about Destiny's story when they clearly can't interpret Rasputin on his various cards. Traveler isn't evil, it's just not stupid. It knows the incoming darkness can destroy it, it boosts the power of civilizations when it arrives, so they can fight the darkness and weaken it, eventually hopefully resulting in its defeat. Rasputin knew that the Eliksni civilization collapsed when the Traveler left, it calculated that the same thing would happen to humanity, so he turned his doomsday weapons on the Traveler, to stop it from leaving, and forcing it to put up the light barrier that currently surrounds the inner planets. This is why the Cabal took shelter on Mars instead of setting up a much more convenient base on one of the moons of the outer planets, they were HIDING from the darkness. Anyway, mic dropped.

There are lots of lore in the game that make you question the traver's and the guardian's actions. For example, when you load the Taniks strike, Veriks says "stop him from stealing the Dark". What in the hell is that supposed to mean? I also expect that guardians and the fallen would eventually join forces, although it's very questionable who we will be fighting against. The hive are definitely a strong contender. The cabal empire doesn't seem like they particularly care about us, they just want to be the strongest military force. And then there's the vex, who in theory should have the ability to prevent us from ever being able to win a battle, yet somehow we keep overpowering them.
