Let's face it, Warlocks got screwed over.

Throughout year one, the likes of Warlocks were always a welcomed addition among a raid team or fire team going through the nightfalls or Prison of Elders, primarily because of the Sunsinger sub class. The sub class itself never did anything directly to support the team, but it was orb dispenser subclass for the most part in comparison to other subclasses, not to mention the self-res was a dependable ability to save the team from a wipe. The Defender was always the most essential subclass for support, and the cloaking from Bladedancers was well enough to get out of sticky situations to revive someone. Things weren't too well designed, but they were well enough. Now, things have changed. The Nightstalker subclass has become the ULTIMATE orb dispenser of a subclass, plus the ability to tether enemies that not only slow them down and blind them, but granting more damage be done to the tethered enemy. It has basically become the ultimate support subclass tied with Defender at this point. So, the Titans still retain their usefulness through their Defender subclass, and now Hunter's can truly call themselves a support class as well. But what about Warlocks? What does the Sunsinger subclass have left to offer? It offers no actual effective buffs to the team and doesn't even come CLOSE to the orbs a Nightstalker can accumulate. What, self res? Perhaps. With the hard raid coming up, it may still retain its "last resort" use. But honestly, most of the time when the entire team ends up dying in the King's Fall raid, its because the team could not keep up with the mechanics of the raid, and most of the time when that happens the wipe is inevitable and no self res will change that. Self res at best is nothing more but a "Whoops, I died, sorry *res*" at this point. So long story short? Warlocks were screwed over this expansion. With other classes getting new sub classes that do their job ten times better while Warlocks get Stormcaller, albeit a fun subclass to use that is indeed nice for clearing out huge groups of ads, but that's not necessarily support that grants the team any actual benefits besides some peace of mind. And clearing ads isn't support. I'd say Voidwalker and Stormcaller are well enough subclasses that do what they were set out to do well enough, but Sunsinger? It's a subclass that needs a complete overhaul in making it a REAL support class that actually contributes to the team. I know a lot of other classes are taking this time to throw their punches (as immature as it is) at the Warlock class finally that its uses have become less valuable these days, but why? Why encourage poor game design? Would it not be better that all classes are balanced and have their role to play in a fireteam? TLDR; Warlocks no longer have any supportive role since TTK and it is poor game design. It needs to be fixed so that all classes are balanced and have their own role to play in the game. All of this coming from someone who has mained a Warlock since day one. EDIT: Reading some of these post, I have forgotten how truly illiterate some people on these forums are and lack absolutely any reading comprehension skills. As long as I've been on these forums for years, I still don't know why I bother.
