Titans may be the most useful, as their bubbles offer protection, and team-centered buffs that can really help.
I'd say that Warlocks are a close runner-up, as Warlocks (both of the other Hard Raids) are always useful. Besides, you would honestly look really stupid to argue that Self-Res is dumb, as being prepared is not a function of stupidity. Edit:
Yes, you have to hold onto your Self-Res, but the upside to it?... Remember MIDA? Now you have Tlaloc.
And Hunters?...
Not sure how they can really help, but shit, they are not bad assets, but I can't see any use for them in the Hard Raid... Yet.
Gettin' real tired of the classist bullshit.
I'm not sure why people think I said that Hunters are useless...

A mix would be best I think. Titans bubbles, warlocks self res would also be useful, and hunters shadow shot for that damage boost is good too. (Especially when combined with weapons of light)

In my humble opinion I think the best classes for the new raid are Titans and Hunters. Warlocks are great and I love my warlock but if you actually see the mechanic of the fights, the warlock is the least useful. The storm caller does help to clear adds but it doesn't add a big boost since you can always wipe adds as a team is not hard at all. The Sunsinger in my opinion is still yet the best warlock class because of the self res. Hunters are so very important with the nightstalkers because when an enemy or specifically a boss gets tethered it gives the whole team a boost damage and it's also great for clearing adds. The titan defender class is the best titan class for the raid. In my opinion Sunbreakers are not that great for this raid or any raid. Defenders still reign over PvE and raids with their bubbles. I say Titans and Hunters are equally useful with Defenders and Nightstalkers particularly. And warlocks are ok with sunsingers. That's my point of view at least.

Wow. You think we hunters won't be good in the raid. Shadow shot helps wonders, plus a gg celestial almost fully staggers oryx. Sure, you can use touch of malice or other guns, but hunters are still useful

1 Respuesta
Gettin' real tired of the classist bullshit.
But you were just saying that you didn't know how Hunters fit into the raid? Anyway, the hunters fit into the raid one of several ways. The first is the obvious; shadowshot makes the entire deal more damage. Pair that with weapons of light and something like the black spindle, sleeper simulant or touch of malice, and you're DPS raises dramatically. The second here is a gunslinger using celestial nighthawk. Big DPS in one burst. It can one shot any of the majors, and it does a decent amount of damage to any of the ultras. The third way is survivability. The blade dancer fully speced for invisibility gets this done, as they can safely remove themselves from an engagement, recover health, and quickly get back to the fight. The hunters place in the raid, specifically the nightstalker, is pure DPS and the ability to boost team DPS along with a defender titan. What good is a warlock who can self-res if they keep dying?

Hunters are useless? Because tether is what no good?

Bubbles are useful, but having the right gear is more important. In the last two fights, everyone having ToM will probably be paramount. Th protection of the Titan bubble is nice, the weapons of light buff can help a little, but it does nothing for oryx himself. Nightstalkers can also help on the deathsingers, nighthawk GG also works well there. Warlocks' self rez is largely negated by rez preventing mechanics. Stormcaller is a liability if it isn't used at the correct time. Voidwalker is ironically decent in the raid, it falls in line with GG Hunters. I'm pretty sure they emphasized mechanics over supers to prevent any one class from really shining in the raid. I'm curious to see what is changing in the hard mode.

The answer is we don't know yet. Simple as that

1 Respuestahunters extra dps will be a must have, as for titans weapons of light. Warlocks need a rework on their void support class.

Editado por monkyken: 10/12/2015 3:25:11 PMPersonally Titan defenders followed by Hunters, as much as Warlocks self res is great during the learning mechanics self res only helps you and your own mistakes it doesn't support the team apart from orbs, something the hunter can now do while stopping a load of enemys or helping deal more damage to a boss. What would you choose to have, a Titan/hunter who can hold their own and not die or a warlock that is depending on self res to save them in mistakes?
-
Hunters and titans
-
Warlocks because casuals are gonna need self res in hard mode
-
Hunter Titan Warlock In my opinion. Hunters nightstalker will be so helpful. For some reason people are struggling to do enough damage so that would be even more helpful. Weapons of light will be also a help. Coming from a warlock Hazza1607

10 RespuestasRemove all the people who are voting for their class just cause they're egotistic and this should be the results 5% warlock 10% Hunter 85% Titan
-
Warlocks are never really the most useful. I main a warlock and I love to play him but I recognize that he has the least useful supers in raids. Sunsinger is probably the best since a self Rez is always useful when you are leaning hard fights.
-
Titans, because just like in all things, Titans are the best.
-
4 RespuestasValid points apart from the hunter bit at the end. Night stalker class is super useful as a support class as the super tethers enemies and weakens them for a team to deal massive amounts of damage. For me it's a must in the raid as well as defender titans.
-
Self res is shit in this raid just like all the other raids. The only reason you should die in this raid is from a team wipe due to some mechanic like enrage, wrong order of platforms etc. If you are dying by adds, then kill them all with voidwalker or stormcaller which will also prevent non warlocks from dying as well.
-
5 RespuestasI feel they all bring something. Hunters are the easiest for the torn between dimensions jumps, as all the Titans an warlocks I've seen do it overshoot the platforms a lot lol. But minus one or two titans for weapons of light, I feel the rest doesn't matter as although self res is good, if you're a good player you shouldn't need to rely upon it to get you through and as with all other raids, our guns an light level will be what makes the difference not our supers.
-
Titan for protection. Warlock for crowd control. And hunters for damage and also could do crowd control
-
Each class helps in its own unique way. Titans with their bubble, locks with their turkey rez and hunters with their sick nasty dps.
-
They all will

3 RespuestasAnswer me someone, when the hell is hard mode raid! ?

All classes have their perks. Hard mode will suck tho!!
-
Nightstalkers were best for normal. I'm assuming its the same.

Titan defender for WoL or BoL, pretty usefull Hunters for crutch invis (platform making, bomb detonating) or a tether for extra DPS Warlock self-res for when it's needed or stormcaller for ads-control
