Titans may be the most useful, as their bubbles offer protection, and team-centered buffs that can really help.
I'd say that Warlocks are a close runner-up, as Warlocks (both of the other Hard Raids) are always useful. Besides, you would honestly look really stupid to argue that Self-Res is dumb, as being prepared is not a function of stupidity. Edit:
Yes, you have to hold onto your Self-Res, but the upside to it?... Remember MIDA? Now you have Tlaloc.
And Hunters?...
Not sure how they can really help, but shit, they are not bad assets, but I can't see any use for them in the Hard Raid... Yet.
Gettin' real tired of the classist bullshit.
I'm not sure why people think I said that Hunters are useless...

Hunters have nightstalker for support and more importantly celestial nighthawk for heavy dps. I can already imagine the lfg posts asking for them so stunning Oryx is easier.
-
Are people completely stupid?? Self rez will be completely useless in heroic mode. Why would anyone want to go into a raid with a crutch mind set?? Try staying alive like everyone else. When there are more than 2 people down its a wipe anyways. Are you crutch users gonna main the boss by yourself? ??
most likely not
Shadowshot man. It stacks with weapons of light. A lot of the encounters in KF are gated based on DPS. So anything to boost that will help immensely.

Editado por Hooshrdady : 10/12/2015 10:35:53 PMA sunsinger lock with increased duration and recharges supers quickly. With solar grenades and starfire protocol. Add control, flame shield, orb producing flaming tank ready to go. Could switch to self rez, but oh so selfish.
-
3 RespuestasHow about team stealth smoke grenades and boss damage buffs for hunters being useful? A smoke bomb goes a long way when everyone is leaving to detonate bombs on oryx
-
2 Nightstalkers, 1 Defender and 1 Sunbreaker Titan, 1 Stormcaller and 1 Sunsinger Warlock. That's my ideal hard mode team, 3 can help damage and tether a boss very well, 2 can clear ads and one can be your ace up your sleeve.
-
1 RespuestaAll classes are useful including the hunter. The night stalker sub class allows good crowd control and spawns orbs for your teammates. As far as boss battles go the extra damage is a huge benifit and when you use the titans bubble with weapons allowing it to stack. My raid team is usually built with 3 hunters a warlock and two titans. The reason being is we can do max damage to bosses with all the bows and weapons bubbles and have the warlock either run self rez for sticky situations or stormcaller to handle adds.
-
Self-res ftw -hunter main
-
Shadowshot...is extremely useful for downing bosses quick bubble is alright but can get in the way and all warlocks have is self rez then what... Shadowshot the invisible smoke sooooo great
-
Tether = more DPS. Weapons of Light = more DPS. Melting Point = more DPS. Tether + Weapons of Light = even more DPS. Weapons of Light + Melting point = even more DPS. This Raid is more about DPS than anything.
-
Sigh Sometimes I seriously wonder what's wrong with these forums... Self-reviving is pointless, don't die in the first place. Hunters- sure you can do a bit of bonus damage on select enemies, but is that better than a blinding bubble to hide in as well as bonus damage for the whole team for any enemy? All classes have their pros and cons, and I know it didn't do all the classes justice with my brief over simplification, but really.. Defenders are by far the best (Striker and Sunbreakers aren't amazing)
all opinion tho
-
8 RespuestasUmm.... Hunters shadowshot gives the same bonus damage as WOL for Titan? Also does 5k damage delivering the actual shot. Hunters can make your whole fire team invisible for a short time to detonate bombs on Oryx? We are now major orb generators? We can also give a boost of recovery for the entire team? You don't play with a hunter do ya? Nightstalker is very versatile if you know how and when to use it. (Ain't nothin like a bubble though. Love my Titan)

3 RespuestasAnd they want to nerf us. If sunbreakers do get a nerf, I hope its pvp only.
-
I'm a hunter and I voted for warlocks. That self res is going to be critical when you can't revive teammates. Then again it may require perfection for people to even pass the boss stages.
-
1 RespuestaNo matter what, it will always be a defender titan.
-
7 RespuestasNightstalker is almost on par with Titans, and those 2 are the best. Saying Warlock is better just means that you suck ass at the game, you should've never died.
-
I wanna say Warlock cause Self Revive but the Bubble+Melting Point=Massive Boss Damage
-
I main a hunter, but I'd say warlocks are the most useful. You can't beat self res on a hard mode raid.
-
Nightstalker for everything but Oryx, and then Nighthawk for ogres
-
2 RespuestasDoes anyone else think there should be a boss in the beginning after the portal opens? Imagine fighting a mini crota
-
7 Respuestasi still don't understand why people run stormcaller in the raid. there are almost no adds in any part of the raid, other than when the taken spawn during golgoroth. that is the only time it is more beneficial to run stormcaller, but even then i would rather have self res and a flame shield. a titan with hammers can clear that whole damn pit by himself. stormcaller is not a good pve class. i haven't seen any need for bubbles yet. i don't think WOL will be a thing, assuming everyone trying hard is at least pushing 310 and has touch of malice. shouldn't really be doing it if you aren't. tether is always going to be huge. i might even put that above warlocks in the hard raid. i would say that nightstalkers and sunsingers are tied, while titans come in last
-
All of them...Warlocks for Self-Rez, Titans for WoL, and Hunters to create mass orbs and tether mobs
-
Not sure of how hunters can help? Is shadowshot not a thing?. Extra damage from that on top of a defender titan bubble with weapons of light, and you won't need a warlock to self res because the boss will be dead real soon. Or use it on a group of adds and generate a fountain of orbs.
-
5 Respuestaslol at those who are saying that self res warlocks lack skill because they die all the time. Ha. When hard mode releases, I'm 100% sure you will die, to ads, new mechanics, the bosses. Your going to end up dead at one point. I know i'm going to die and cause a wipe, so will you. Stop your moaning and just have 2 of each class in your team and i'm sure hard mode will be fine with that. Thanks, losers.
-
All of the above ?
-
Titans and hunters I don't really see a point to warlocks. Hunters have tether and cl nh, and Titans have their bubbles.
