Gender identity disorder is a DISORDER. Rather than finding a cure for it (if one is possible) why are we finding ways to live with it (transitioning) rather than curing it? Transitioning doesn't cure the disorder.

Whether I agree with their lifestyle choices or not, I will support their right to make their own decisions in regards to their body. If they want to spend the money on surgery, they should have that right. There should be a caveat with every surgery that there are physical and social consequences regarding that monumental decision, though.
