I'm a girl. I'm new to Destiny and FPS's in general so I'm not super great at this game yet, but I figure I'll get there eventually. I'm glad I found this thread though, because I've only met a couple other females on Destiny.
That being said, all the guys I've come in contact with have been super nice and helpful. Just normal dudes so far. Only person I've had issues with was a teen girl who came to me with all her drama lol.

I would recommend become more accustomed to a type of gun first as each type of gun works differently, and then once you get used to using them, switch and slowly become more versatile. You'll need a basis to start on which is why I said to get used to a type of gun first, but then to become good at FPS games you need to be versatile, because one loadout isn't good for every situation.

Indeed. Everything else like tracking your target will come naturally as you're aiming and getting used to your gun. If I can offer any other help just let me know, either here or just PM me.
