1 RespuestaMy friends and I have no problem helping noobs through it, and I'm on Xbox One as well. Gt is TheBear2012, add me, we'll get you through :)

1 RespuestaAt 290, I don't understand how people won't take you in. I did it yesterday with a group kind enough to let me in for the first time. The Raid isn't "hard". Rather, it's complex. That means that good teamwork and communication is all that should be required if you're 290 light or above. Additionally, once they let you in, you'll get drops to raise your light level!! Oryx is a tougher fight, but if everyone else DPS Oryx enough and get the Ogres down quick, then it shouldn't be a problem. Study up the Raid, and mention you did. That might help you get into a group! Good luck!

4 RespuestasMy team has taken plenty of newer people through and I've personally done about 4 runs each week with one character. You'll find a team, just give it time or make friends man.

3 RespuestasEditado por FireAntz93: 10/6/2015 7:03:22 AMI was reading and just about to say that I'd enjoy being your guide for King's Fall. Then you said you were on XBox... Can't help you there. =/ Sorry man. Edit: Although I'm sure if you watch videos on what to do during the encounters more groups wouldn't mind picking you up despite your lower light and inexperience. Explain in you're next post that you know what to do and you'll surely find some group. It's not that groups don't like newbies, it's just that they don't like having to explain the mechanics. Sorry that this might be the only way.

4 RespuestasI'll take you over the weekend, took five raid noobs last weekend and they killed every single boss except Oryx, they had fun. And the raid is long so you can not blame players for trying to run it in the time it is supposed to last instead of 6 hours because they have to carry and teach new people, the loot is not even worth it so nobody wants to help other anymore.

1 RespuestaIf you were PS4 I could hook you up.

8 RespuestasI agree. I have 300+ characters but it's hard to bring in my bro because he's 290 and people refuse to raid with that. Need to find a consistent group that's chill about that. My friends aren't always on at the same time. I'm on Xbox one feel free to add me. I'll do my best to help.

1 RespuestaEditado por gallp13: 10/6/2015 8:28:33 AMLFG no good for raids - kinda like looking for marriage at a speed dating session (yep unfortunate simile but accurate). LFG good for PoE or NF pick up. For raids, and assuming you don't have a clan, use 100.io. If you are XB1 hit me up gallp13 happy to set up a supportive raid team with Sherpa if needed. See - you are not alone. If not XB1 PM anyway will advise and assist. Take care gallp13 EDIT answer to "Gallup" online normally in the context "FFS Gallup hold what you got !" :)

Dont feel bad bud i was 299 knew the raid from the back of my hand before i found a team willing to do it with me.. Plus i had good weapons. You'll do it in time

I can tell you that 290 is a bit of a challenge for doing DPS on bosses, mostly Oryx. However, it is relatively easy to surpass the 290 mark without doing the raid. First, make sure you've finished all the quest lines because at least one of them gives you a 300def artifact (completing the raid with a special Eris bounty gives a 310). Also, take advantage of the court, strikes and 3 of coins from Xur. Even if you don't get exotics, they seem to help drop better stuff from bosses. I know it's a grind to level your character but you have to understand that everyone has done it. You're in a position where you can do the raid but people are asking for 295+ because the Oryx fight is actually 300. Try looking into helpful clans too. My clan learned the raid as a team and we failed a lot. However, we finally finished it and can now teach others. Also, heed the advice on weapons too. The 1000yd stare from Vanguard is a great weapon in the raid. Properly leveled, it does fantastic damage and is one of the highest impact snipers short of Black Spindle. Scout Rifles are another good weapon and I strongly suggest the Dead Orbit vendor version of Hung Jury. I've not seen another easily owned scout that comes close. Just keep tryin and you'll get in there. Sherpas will emerge, if they haven't already, and I'm sure there are plenty on the xb1. The grind is worth it, the raid is the best they've done so far.

Editado por Zurreal: 10/6/2015 8:26:45 AMIs the gear you're wearing now on your Titan the only way you can reach 290? - If you can replace the sword with a machine gun or rocket launcher and still be 290+ I'd say you're good to go. Being new to the raid is usually not an issue (as long as you listen and do as told), your equipment may be though. There are no carrying in King's Fall, everyone has to pull their own weight. * You need a good sniper for literally every boss encounter (with the exception of Deathsingers / Oryx where you can replace the sniper with Touch of Malice - but you have to complete the raid at least once to get that). -Your Antimony XVI will do the job just fine. * A decent heavy, preferably a high impact machine gun (I recommend Ruin Wake or Thunderlord) - mostly to use vs ogres in the Oryx fight but also good when you run out of sniper ammo during a dps phase vs a boss. What you use for primary doesn't really matter, as long as you're able to take care of trash mobs with it.

I jumped in a team 2 days ago as a 188 i even stated on lfg I was a new runner (due to being on holiday) and I was invited within minutes and got all the way to oryx by that time with drops I had increased to 196. I have now beaten oryx twice and have now worries about making my own team. Yes I have seen a few elitists or people wishing quick runs but that's up to them, but I have never had a problem with getting into any activities over the lifetime of the game and I was a late starter. I feel these 'never gonna be able to do raids' posts are a little over exaggerated. Also there are two lfg sites that I know of and I also post up on both sites when searching maybe you can try that to speed up your search and be honest there are plenty people willing to help others just for the fun of running the raid. Good hunting guardian.

This King's Fall is really hard!! i play on first time, I don't know how to do~!! I just follow someone who is experience do this raids, and really means "Times" "Teamwork" & "Skill", if u not anyone of that, you must be not to pass the Fxxking King's Fall forever!!
-
If you were on PlayStation I'd glady help you because as soon as you get the ghost or another piece of equipment your light level should increase. The fact that you don't know what to do is not a problem. It's not difficult to explain. Everyone that has been in or beaten the raid didn't know what to do at first.
