Wow you clearly don't understand how companies work.... An mmo you have two ways on how to support your game. 1: paying a monthly subscription fee for upkeep and future content creation. 2: in game store for cosmetic items. Now clearly people dont want to pay a monthly fee so the best way for bungie to keep making money so they can pay there staff and keep the servers up is to offer this new system. You should get on your knees and thank anyone who buys one as they are helping to find this game and keep new content and service up keep going.
