I hate people who boast about their kd. I ran into people who go invisible and wait for heavy to get kills, than they tell me they are better players... when the only top 1 percent stat they have is kd...
Ps can someone tell me my medal score?

Just keep this in mind. Going by K/D is like reading someone's power levels with a scouter.

I just finished last on my Clash match, 0.82 kd final. But I sniped 3 (YES 3!) HoS Titans mid super. Come at me :)
-
No, but grammar does.

How's it go? All players who are good will have good KDs but not all good KDs belong to good players? You can have a goddamn 10.0 KD but if you spend all your time camping one spot and never ever ever move, then I wouldn't call you a good player. If you're able to run and gun and help cap points or open up flanking opportunities or outplay 2 enemies or more at once... Then you usually have a higher KD simply because of a tactical mindset. Or at least you help out your team a lot.

2 RespuestasMy opinion...No not at all. Having a high kill death doesnt really mean too much. K/D doesn't show skills like, communication, team work, understanding the right places to control on the map, or controlling heavy or special ammo.

2 RespuestasEditado por etman1030: 10/7/2015 6:28:24 PMSometimes. Depends on game mode. In clash, skirmish, and elimination, K/D is very significant. For games like rift and control you need to compare to objective stats (flag caps per game, spark carries vs caps per game). Also depends on how you define skill; if a player goes 30-6 in rift without touching the spark is he skilled? Or is someone who gets 3 rift caps with a 1 K/D more skilled?

In PvP yes. At the end of the day, what matters (besides having fun of course) is being effective. Some ppl have really good skills in terms of reaction time and can out gun you one to one. Some ppl are skilled in manouvering around the map more in a strategic manner, rather than relying in pure reaction time. As long as whatever ur doing is effective, you're a good player. Wether anyone likes what ur doing or not.

Invisibility doesn't last for 5 minutes. Wot

It only matters for pvp.

Not in a casual friendly game like Destiny. Quit bragging fgt

8 RespuestasPeople who care about KD are Call of Duty players. All I care about is if your playing the objective. If your not, get out of the match.
-
In Crucible yes, PvE, no
-
Editado por Dolphinizer: 10/7/2015 9:32:52 PMYes K/D (to an extent) shows how well the player will preform in an average game of cruciable.
-
Editado por Happyjoey547014: 10/7/2015 9:32:15 PMNo not entirley. It does shed a little light into the players skill but those numbers are easily fabricated. It's called stat pading and quite a few people do it. If we had ranked play lists that would give you a better idea of who is actually good.
-
No, it means you probably camp like a bitch from all those dregs.

4 RespuestasI have a low kd, because I like to have fun, not be super competitive...
