Sign the Whitehouse.gov petition below. All that is required is a name and email. We can make human exploration of Mars a reality! Mars or Bust people!
NASA plans to send humans to Mars by the 2030s. These missions need more funding so they can be executed effectively. The recent discovery of liquid water on the Red Planet should spark an increase in government funding of all Mars related projects. The sooner humans start spreading out, the sooner earth's environment will begin improving.
150 Signatures is the minimum requirement on Whitehouse.gov for a petition to be searchable on the online database. Wouldn't it be cool if the path to Mars got a push from gamers?

I would be glad to help you bump this thread until that 150 mark is met on a petition, but whoring likes on this forum is just elongating the process you're trying to speed up. And also, the dates won't change. What you [i]should[/i] petition for is increased funding, not a change of mission. They can't tell NASA to do their work any faster, however they can give NASA more money so they could possibly be able to do it faster. Either way, accelerating the mission is not the issue, NASA's funding is. Petition that.
