You guys got -blam!-ed hard, and it is ridiculous that bungie did that to their fans. All the bungie representative said is " I don't think we did a good job of letting players know that would happen", this has to be the biggest slap in the face I have ever witnessed by a gaming company.

There's a strong current of support for this statement, but unfortunately, it means nothing unless it hurts Bungie's bottom line. So, the real question is whether or not we're willing to stop playing to back up the people who got worked over. I haven't stopped playing, which really places a giant asterisk beside everything I may say in support.

24 RespuestasI like how the so called forum managers are making a point of ignoring any posts regarding this issue, not a single comment on any of the hundreds of post complaining. If that is not a blatant admission of guilt and acknowledgement that they have done wrong then i don't know what is. ACTIBUNGIEVISION SHOULD HANG THEIR HEADS IN SHAME.

3 RespuestasThank you. Smart informed gamers can separate Destiny [the Game] from Bungie/Activision [the company] and see the anti-gamer business practices they are exercising. Every gamer should be concerned.

16 RespuestasDidn't do a good job? Dude Deej specifically said no one would be left behind. Didn't do a good job? You straight up lied to the players.
-
Yeah, I got wise to Bungie's bullshit practices before TDB even launched, but had foolishly bought the bundle. People who defend their practices are directly contributing to the decline of quality in the gaming industry.

61 RespuestasIf they are real fans they would move forward just like the rest of us and buy the dlc.. Pretty simple
-
U not good at trolling. Learn from the greats.
-
6 RespuestasThey aren't real fans or they would buy the best expansion and story the game has to offer.

7 RespuestasEditado por LittleWitchAuz: 10/3/2015 8:33:55 AMWhat do you propose they get?Access to level 40?Access to Nightfall? What do you honestly see them being able access without it looking they got what I got but for free.Hmm.If you allow access to level 40 then they could do Nightfall & have access to the new exotics. That is a part of TTK.There would have been no point of buying TTK then.Level 40 means access to TTK.Nightfall is 280 light it is also a part of TTK to get that high.So no...People that didn't buy TTK are not entitled to TTK included items. When FFXIV Heavensward came out...I bought it to get access to new mounts, level 60,new storyline,& a bunch of other things. If I didn't buy it then I lost out.I would not be a bitch about it.I wouldn't get the new mounts or level 60.So no they didn't get bitch slapped by bungie. They got bitch slapped by reality.

It's a terrible precedent to set. I hope it does here and now

For some reason, that response reminds me of Dave chappele's friend chip. You know, the one who said, "Im sorry, officer, I didn't know I couldn't do that."
chip did know he couldn't do that
3 RespuestasGet job + buy DLC = problem solved

Yea it's sad but ask me one question, do I care?nope I bought it because the games mega and if my money goes towards making this game better then so be it. Most of the people crying about it will happily wastes £100 on a night out or on other crap you wont see any benefit from. If you like it that much to waste your time on here crying about it go buy it and stop wasting everyone's time having to read you bs or move on.

1 RespuestaWho continues to play a video game, not staying current with content releases? Kind of pointless.

55 RespuestasWaaaahhh waaaahhhh waaahhh!!!!! No one cares anymore move on. The noob talking like he knows about the game. What a joke.

12 RespuestasThe reason why Bungie has not replied to posts such as this, or those in line with the whole "Non-TTK players getting screwed" argument is because the majority of the players are new to the MMORPG genre, as it isn't a widely played genre on consoles. Very few games of that genre are out there on consoles, such as Neverwinter and The Elders Scroll Online. And even then, most console players don't play those sorts of games. But Destiny is more relatable to WoW, in terms of how it's structured with progression. Even if Bungie were to explain their reasonings, people would pounce on every word and twist what they say to get their own message out of it. Luke Smith did the right thing with expressing his displeasure in the lack of information before TTK came out to explain what was really being moved ahead, and what was being left behind. But it's a new game and genre to them. They're still learning. It takes time and mistakes are necessary to learn what to do better next time.

2 RespuestasYeah... i would love to hear from those on the bungie staff who disagree with that move. I know they are there. You would have real cred with the community if you spoke out. :)

Nothing going for a swim in an olympic swimming pool filled with cash and washing away all that avarice!

3 RespuestasBungie doesn't care and these threads don't matter.

Editado por Rmtrx: 10/1/2015 6:45:13 AMThanks for the support. You may have already bought TTK, but you can inform all your friends who do not own TTK about this policy, as this policy is a deal breaker. Not anyone wants to invest on a game that will be butchered after 3-4-5 months. Furthermore, by not buying they help all of us to avoid having such policies imposed my this or other companies. Companies with such tactics must loose money from sales. This is a must. Only this way they get the message.
