True test of a yr 1 player......
If u are finding it hard to find material for ur exotic sword quest... u clearly have never had to farm.
Update:wow really wasnt expecting this post to take off like this.
Also to those that keep saying u farmed on the dreadnaught.. we arent talking about that part. Look into the exotic quest.

I still remember the day I hit 30. I was farming on mars, for about 2 hours straight. I finally got enough relic iron and upgraded my VOG gauntlets. My friends looked at my character in awe.

Quick lesser known tip. If you have a ghost that marks materials, if you aim down sights with a sniper, the ghost will mark that material no matter how far away you are. For farming relic iron, I entered an area, and just sat there aiming with my sniper until a source of relic iron popped up. Collected it and just repeated. Bump so more know of this!

I did all three swords and i have to say, not how i planned on spending 7 hours if you include the ability kills, the farming wasnt that bad, got a lot of materials now so i know i wont have to go on another run for a while

I have farmed those materials twice now for dark drinker and whatever the arc sword is called. Not looking forward to farming for the solar one.....

Yeah expect in vanilla Destiny I could pick up chest for all more materials.

7 RespuestasI really am dreading having to farm materials again...at the moment I have a lot of stuff waiting to upgrade, just can't bring myself to do that boring stuff again..with so much new content who the hell wants to waste time farming. If they must have farming they should add it too PvP too, like if u play shores of time u get some spirit bloom as well as ur rep

Throw on a ghost that highlights the mats you need, its what i have done and now im just waiting for arms day reset for my exotic sword. Good hunting guardians

So much farming wish I had turned in my 200 vanguard and crucible marks for materials right before the expansion not that that would have helped with the exotic part but hunter shadowstalker makes it so easy

They made it easier for people now with these Ghost shells. I have had to return to my old Spinmetal route as so much of my gear needs it. Never thought I would find myself looping the Divide for Spinmetal again, lol.
