Bungie screwin us on exotic endgrams
So today i buy 3 exotic engrams from Xur and when i take them to the cryptarc i got suros regime, red death, and bad juju in that order. I go to my menu to equip and the rating on them was 160 unupgraded... Let me also point out that i already have every single exotic weapon and armor, except those iron banner items... So why exactly is bungie giving us year one exotics off of an endgram if i turn in an endgram right after buying from xur... Because the on i have,of each, is maxed out and waiting on an upgrade i dismantled the three. BUNGIE I DEMAND YOU GIVE ME YEAR TWO EXOTICS When i turn in an endgram, in fact since i put in so much time on your game i damand you give me the guns i just got today and am posting this about, because i only play a few hours a day, i spent 150 strange coins today, and uou screwed me out of my exotic weapons

It's like Bungie said "well a lot of idiots won't read and waste their coins haha" Either that or they realized that minus a few times, Xur is essentially useless now, as are SC. Completing collections does nothing but satisfy people who can't stand that they are missing something, even if what they are missing is totally useless. Its like grimore score, totally useless, just some weird thing that obsessives and tryhards can brag about.

yeah its a lesson to learn from this. Always read what your buying. People just saw that primary engram and were like QUICK BUY 5! I got excited for 2 seconds till i read legacy lol

I know people are blasting you for not knowing what "legacy" means, but I too got burned by this before I ever even READ what the item was I was buying. I'm assuming you fell into that same boat. If not, as others have stated, it's a Legacy Engram, meaning you get legacy (read: year 1) items. People calm the eff down. Some people just do not observe everything they do in the game. Simple mistake.
