Legendary marks a total joke
These marks are stupid, you need them for literally everything, and hardly any drop, it's dumb.

Ok, I've had some really helpful people here and some total A holes.
It seems like marks don't really matter. I was focusing on them to get my exotic upgrade to improve my light level. I didnt really understand that you constantly need to be equipping the higher blues that drop in order for the game to then reward higher lvl drops. Thanks

5 Respuestaswell atleast you can earn them,gamers like me who havent bought the dlc cannot earn them at all,bungie is forcing everyone to buy ttk dlc in order to access everything the tower has to offer,i just bought the stand alone game last month without any knowledge that ttk was on its way,and now its like there's no point in playing it,so if bungie doesnt let gamers like me be able to reach lv40 to atleast be able to earn legendary's to continue to have fun in a new update then im just gonna trade in my copy and buy borderlands pre sequel,i still havent played it yet and i loved the first two borderlands and i've been wanting to play it,i think i would get more than my moneys worth with borderlands pre sequel rather than spend that same amount on ttk,so thanks bungie for ruining destiny for me,i really wanted to like destiny more and more but bungie has left me with the perverbial bad taste in my mouth,im so disappointed at bungie for this,smfh...

4 RespuestasYou get 15 for every daily, 10 per heroic up to a max of 30, from quests, from breaking down legendary gear, etc. I had enough at the start of yesterday to buy the new Saint 14 and I have almost 100 again.

You dont need them for everything. The hold more value then vanguard marks dod son of course theyre going to be more. Once you get in a groove, theyre easier to get when you start sharding, no moting, no sharding again, no marking guns/armour.

Some people seem to be doing fine with their marks. But let's not forget a big amount of the marks came from some quests, which aren't repeatable.

I'm at 119 marks with a light level of 281, most of my gear are only within 6 points of all 280 with some increasing the average, all Y2 exotic blueprints are 280 attack/defense, therefore i can get better gear from engrams than vendors, very unique situation

Exactly! Your drops will be based on your light level! Stash away your legendaries for now when you get a better blue and then infuse them later once you get higher drops!

You gain them exponentially, first 10 hours you struggle to get any but then you are in the high content and they come A LOT quicker

You don't need legendary marks to get a high light number you just need to play the game marks are for exotic blueprints and vendor gear if you want it. If you play the game like the new strikes and quest you'll start eventually getting blue gear that has 300 defense which is higher than the vendor gear

The struggle for marks is real. I just loved how bungie said. There wont be a cap on how much you cant earn in a week. Yet here we are being capped on how much to earn in a day. Me personally i prefer vanguard and crucible marks to come back atleast you got them just for playing the game. These new ones are grind city

I think i've managed to get around 250-300 in two days! So yeah just play the game :)

And if Year 1 taught us anything, its that RNG is a terrible system for rewarding players.

You are so wrong. I got to light level 280+ very easily by just doing your quests. Try to do the ones that yield marks. Do not waste your marks on vendor items, use them to infuse guns and armor. As your light increases, so does your loot table. Super easy, stop whining and play the damn game
