TTK Class Action Lawsuit
I'm doing research on starting a class action lawsuit against Bungie and Activision for how they sold The Taken King via false advertisement, cut content from players who didn't purchase TTK without warning or word, overcharging oversea players over twice as much as American players by ignoring currency exchange rates, and overpricing a DLC which content was nowhere near worth the price. There are some solid things that TTK will automatically land Activition and Bungie in court, mainly false advertisement and the currency exchange rate. If I can get enough people to back me up here, so I know I can get some supporters for the class action lawsuit, then I will go ahead and file the lawsuit and post it if it's accepted and in the pending stages. I was robbed of what I bought and I want it back for free, because I paid for it.
I am also going to add in this class action lawsuit the abuse of Bungie's EULA. To use that to build a set up to lock out customers to repay for content they already paid for is going beyond reasonable use of EULA. Having one model of business written, then using a different business model to generate revenue is illegal. There is nothing Bungie states in it's EULA that this is a subscription based game and people who don't pay every 3 months will be locked out. Big mistake. If successful, this class action lawsuit will be the gaming equivalent of Abercrombie and Fitch being sued by their employees of their policies and terms that were unethical.

You may not be able to get them for dlc pricing and stuff but you can get them for neglecting their customers with their customer support problems

7 RespuestasIt sucks you feel that way. However, there is nothing you can do about it. You know that fine print? It's all in there. Personally, I thought it was a great DLC. They have stated numerous times before their updates and on this site all the conditions going into every DLC.

I find it hard to believe that you would actually do it. I guess it takes a special kind of breed to ignore all logic and go as far as suing a company for selling a product you bought under no false pretences. It also doesn't help your case that you are just saying stuff without any actual proof. You agreed to the terms and conditions of service which means you gave them permission to alter the content of the game. Your "lawsuit" has no ground. I actually hope you go through with this so Bungie can slam you and you're left to pay for court fees.

But there are also ways around that,too. i wish you luck. Also, its not [i]entirely[/i] Bungie's fault, only some of it (talking about you, Luke Smith) Activision is the real money fiend here.

Something needs to be done, but it's not bungie's fault. Bungie DEVELOPS the game, Activision PUBLISHES the game. They set the standards for what goes out, how much it costs, etc. Bungie does what they can, and ACTIVISION -blam!-s it up. They do it with every game they are a part of. Take this out on Activision, they are the ones destroying the community

Editado por AngryPandaz: 9/18/2015 7:15:26 AMI'd back this simply for the fact I still don't understand why I, as a resident of the UK, paid practically double residents of the U.S. There were loads of petitions flying around about it but nothing happened....it's like the people of Activision (who I presume were at fault for this) just don't understand exchange rates. It's absolutely crazy they are apparently getting away with that :(

your right man they need to be sued into the ground. if we dont make them own up to their crimes then all other gaming companies will follow in suit, its ridiculous games nowadays are starting to cost prices that compete with the systems that you play them on.
