To all against Nolan North
He is a human being and all you guys do is bash him repeatedly calling him gay like he doesn't have feelings. I'm surprised to see the amount of public support cyber bullying has in this forum. It is truly despicable behavior and I am SO disappointed in the Destiny community. You were not satisfied insulting each other's weapons, subclasses and, tactics, as well as stats. NO. Now you have the nerve to insult someone who is working hard and doing his best to give you a good game. Desmond Miles and Nathan Drake... That is Nolan North he has created them from the script to life... It is disturbing to see your animosity toward such an amazing actor. Whether he is gay or not doesn't matter he deserves respect. There is no excuse for this level of rampant cyber bullying. Now I hope this thread trends because North not only deserves respect, he deserves someone in his corner. If you agree please help this post to trend. If you don't... I'm disgusted with the idea of being the same species as you.

Personally, I wouldn't want some snot nose telling the forums you're this or that because you don't do things the way I like, if I were him because I would be to busy spending the paper I made from the voice over. I'm sure NN is not at home sipping his coffee, scanning the Bungie forums for haters. Be real about this. Dude cares less what I, you or anyone else says, posts, texts or otherwise. Honestly I just don't like the acting for me it's way too emotional and then emotionless at points where the acting feels off. Maybe he was rushed to get it done but clearly his voice acting is definitely not given justice by the auto tuning and bland content he was given

While, yes, he is an amazing actor, I don't think his role as the ghost is very good, but that's just me.

I have had more time listening to his voice and I still don't like it. I preferred Dinklebot. Now considering I like Nolans past work I can only surmise that it is not his fault. It is the directors fault. It is the director who get the performance he wants from the talent afterall. ;)

5 RespuestasI don't think reasonable players have a problem with Nolan North as a person, his sexual orientation, nor his performance. What we have a problem with is Bungie, who obviously guided his performance towards their expectations. Their expectations of having an odd, cartoony sidekick is the real issue. It simply does not fit the game.

9 RespuestasYou are a tone deaf fool if you think Nolan North's voice acting fits in destiny. He may be a human being and a 'professional' voice actor in many other games but he absolutely sucks... And I really mean completely and utterly fails in almost every line he has spoken as the ghost in destiny. I started a new character today and had many facepalm moments just listening to his half arsed performance. Go to the moon and listen to his 'we've woken the hive' line. Jesus Christ in a handbasket, Forest Gump could have done better. I honestly wish there was a mute button for the ghost as I would prefer subtitles instead. Keep on supporting his awful performances, the rest of the world won't.
