To all against Nolan North
He is a human being and all you guys do is bash him repeatedly calling him gay like he doesn't have feelings. I'm surprised to see the amount of public support cyber bullying has in this forum. It is truly despicable behavior and I am SO disappointed in the Destiny community. You were not satisfied insulting each other's weapons, subclasses and, tactics, as well as stats. NO. Now you have the nerve to insult someone who is working hard and doing his best to give you a good game. Desmond Miles and Nathan Drake... That is Nolan North he has created them from the script to life... It is disturbing to see your animosity toward such an amazing actor. Whether he is gay or not doesn't matter he deserves respect. There is no excuse for this level of rampant cyber bullying. Now I hope this thread trends because North not only deserves respect, he deserves someone in his corner. If you agree please help this post to trend. If you don't... I'm disgusted with the idea of being the same species as you.

The new voice fits the Ghost's character as a little companion like a fairy much more than a deep voice. Even if the voice isn't ear candy, it fits the character much more. Badasses like Link has a fairy companion, an even bigger badass, Guts from Berserk has a fairy companion... and they all are annoying to listen to. I think this fits the Ghost much better and I think people aren't looking at the character, they just want a nice voice to listen to.

I think he sounds likes a less animated C-3PO. I was just hoping for more out of him. I think Dinklebot was more animated

1 RespuestaJust to say, I don't think the Nolanbot sounds gay or anything, nor do I have an issue with gay people. However, I don't like the Nolanbot. He's too high-pitched, and whiney. It's been a year, the Dinklebot now has signature lines, and Nolan can't live up to it. Someone said a few days ago that he sounds similar to C3PO, and that person NAILED IT.

4 RespuestasFirst of all he is a voice actor not an actor. Secondly it doesn't matter that he did a great job on other voices for video game characters. Bruce Willis has a lot of great movies and a lot of bad ones. Does him having more good ones than bad ones some how make the bad ones better? No, they absolutely do not. Also anyone can tell just by reading the first couple sentences that you are biased towards north. You are so "disappointed" in the community however as I read through the comments you continue to tell people who give their opinion to shut up and their opinion is invalid. Most of these people are giving you good argument points but you aren't having it. Not even able to have a simple argument about a voice actor who did not perform very well with what he was given. You sir are what is wrong with this community. If you would like to stop being the poison in this community then actually listen to people's opinions instead of just saying "shut up".

Just because he is trying doesn't mean its good. It has to do with way he sounds. I wish I could turn it off when the ghost now speaks. I didn't care who get next I just hope they change it quick.

Quit sticking up for him. He over acted his part and it's absolute garbage. Some of the worse voice acting I've heard. And don't give me the it's the script bull shit. Same script as dinklage, worse acting.

I thought nearly all his deliveries were terrible. When I first heard, "We've woken the hive!" against the blank screen months ago I thought, "Oh Crap!!" When my kids heard it two days ago they laughed. The new Ghost seems completely out of touch with the situation. Just plain terrible.

6 RespuestasMy real problem is that it doesn't matter what people say or think, this is simply a gut reaction to the fact that no one likes change. If North had voiced the ghost first, we would have the same arguments against whoever they had changed to. My point is, that in a few days/weeks, no one will care. I personally never cared for Dinklebots delivery. His way of speech made it seem that we as the player were not the main character. Tl;Dr : People don't like change. Relax. It'll get better over time.

He is an actor getting criticized for a really bad performance, if he can't handle that he is in the wrong line of work.
