To all against Nolan North
He is a human being and all you guys do is bash him repeatedly calling him gay like he doesn't have feelings. I'm surprised to see the amount of public support cyber bullying has in this forum. It is truly despicable behavior and I am SO disappointed in the Destiny community. You were not satisfied insulting each other's weapons, subclasses and, tactics, as well as stats. NO. Now you have the nerve to insult someone who is working hard and doing his best to give you a good game. Desmond Miles and Nathan Drake... That is Nolan North he has created them from the script to life... It is disturbing to see your animosity toward such an amazing actor. Whether he is gay or not doesn't matter he deserves respect. There is no excuse for this level of rampant cyber bullying. Now I hope this thread trends because North not only deserves respect, he deserves someone in his corner. If you agree please help this post to trend. If you don't... I'm disgusted with the idea of being the same species as you.

And the writing is still atrocious. Your ghost should be your sidekick. He should be a counterpoint to the action. He should play to the tension in each scene. He should have some smart-ass lines. He should tell some jokes. He should have an MP4 player capability so he can stream music while you play. He should have a flashlight that [u]always[/u] works in dark places. He should have a girlfriend ghost, maybe some kids. If you want a female sounding ghost, you should have the option to make your ghost female. He shouldn't be whatever the hell he is right now. This might be a huge PR scam to create buzz in the community, though. I'd lay even money that Bungie actually has a more masculine version that will patch-in when TTK goes live.

I've played plenty of games with him voicing a character and I think he does a fantastic job. As voice actors go, he's one of the best, and I sincerely mean that. Comparable to the work Mark Hamill does when voicing the Joker. As far as him voicing the new ghost goes, it is just horrible. The thing is, I don't think it's entirely his fault. If you listen to some of his lines, it's like he doesn't even know what's going on in the scene. Play the second mission in the gamed. The one where you get the hyper drove for your ghost. When he says "it's in the walls" he had the emotion of someone who just found his car keys after listening to his wife tell him 20 times where they are. It's just bad. I don't think he's ever played the game through, and I don't think he had any coaching or anyone to tell him what was going on. This is as much Bungie's fault as it is his. He should have played the through at least one to get a clue as to what was going on. And if he did then I lost s lot of respect. The other problem I have is that it sounds like he's trying to hard to sound like C3PO. Totally not needed in this. Without R2D2, C3PO doesn't work well at all. Bottom line, I like Nolan. I have lots of respect for him. This was definitely not his best work, which is really a shame.

I do not like his voice as the ghost, but I don't bash on him, and call him gay, I realize that it is not my choice, I like Nolan North, he plays epic characters! Nathan Drake, Richtofen, Brutus, The robotic bus driver. There is no reason to bash on him he works hard and is a great actor!

They both have proven their abilities, but even with that, shitty material will always end up shitty no matter who does it. That and also falls on the Voice Director. Voice Directors are there for a reason. It is not a fail on Peter Dinklage nor on Nolan North. It was next to nothing shitty dialog material and a Voice Director that did a shitty job at telling them how they want it delivered, the voice actor is going to just deliver you shit.

Dinklage was better in my opinion, I would like to see him return (even though the percentage of that to happen is lower than 5%) and put more effort into it. I would also take Arnold Schwarzenegger, even though he's getting older now...still my favorite actor and could be the best voice actor :P

I like it. It took a while to get used to, but I think overall it's more fun. One thing I think most players need to keep in mind is that we have literally spent hundreds of hours listening to dinklebot. It will take some time and re-wiring to get that out of our system.

I liked Dinklebot. His voice was better. Nolan North wasn't going to fix the horrendous lines.

Although I dislike his ghost voice and it sounds a little "gay" I still don't mind it. Some lines don't work with Nolan North but people are allowed to have their own opinions. I like some of his other work and I think it's great but I don't think just because his ghost voice is something I don't like I should start insulting him. I respect him for his work and I hope he keeps it up.

1 RespuestaPlus the ghost is a newly born ghost. Hence why it's only recently discovering us. Our guardian and ghost are technically only one year old. So, of course it's going to sound young. Plus it's Humorous to see people use gay as an insult as those who do that are obviously children or immature and think it's a valid insult. It's 2015. People are dumb. It's like doing around and being like "that's black!" Instead of saying "that's gay!" It's foolish lol.
