I don't get why people spent 40 extra dollars just for a couple emotes and an exotic class item. If you did buy the 80$ edition please comment below and explain your reasoning. Bump if you were smart like me and saved 40$ for something useful.

I bought the physical collectors edition because I only play destiny and halo, so spending something like 80$ on one of two games I play is nothing honestly. Not gonna act like I'm rich or anything but the amount of time it takes me to make the money to buy that is barely anything so why not? I bought a ps4 for destiny and an xbone for halo. If someone has the money to throw down on something it doesn't necessarily mean they are stupid or "sheep". I enjoy collecting.

2 RespuestasI bought the 80$ for the physical contents and because I could. My wife and I are collectors. We have a second master bedroom turned game room with collectors memorabilia wall to wall from games to movies to super heros to comic books. This is just another addition that will have a spot next to the ce ghost shell and the ghost plush I just ordered.

I thought you didn't have to buy that one for the emotes and what not. But the newest email only adds that with either of the 80 packs. I dont have " disposable income" but I make a good living and Destiny has been my go to game all year. I wont play call of duty anymore so really i dont mind spending a bit on something that may be a collector item years from now. I mean look at the big to do about that atari game no one bought. The alien in the bike basket... phone home... what the hell was that movie..... anyway.. i dont mind supporting the company that has kept me playing for a year, mistakes and all , its still a good game that i can co op with my family and friends. Not too many like that out there......... bing , brain just turned on -ET-

Editado por Reptile_7_: 9/12/2015 9:22:54 PMI saved the whole cost of the game when I ordered a new PS4 TTK edition since it was the same price as a base PS4 but comes with the Legendary Edition and all the CE digital content. Was time to upgrade anyway so win win for me.

Some people have money to burn. I used to be addicted to cocaine. So 80$ on a game is far better spent.
-
I bought it so that I could give it away! https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/153170208/0/0

Not everyone has a modest income like you, however. Some gamers have large incomes. The cost of a game is trivial in that case. I always buy Collector's Editions games and limited edition consoles. Gaming is a low cost hobby. If you think it is expensive, try photography as a hobby. The cost of the gear can easily exceed $20,000.

I was on ps3 and had planned to upgrade to my ps4 soon. When TTK was announced i pre ordered the 80 digital edition since it came with the game 40 for game 40 for TTK free emotes class items was the way i see it.

Because I make enough money to spend on the things I enjoy and I am not a pretentious ass that assumes they are smarter than someone else because they chose not buy something others have.

1 RespuestaEditado por A FILTHY NUT: 9/12/2015 3:55:59 PMI did it for emotes.
didnt think class items wouldn't be worn seperately from other exotics

i didn't get my exotic titan class item from the package

I rated it 1 star

but you know what?

no -blam!-s given
I got the physical collectors edition so I'm getting my monies worth. For those who bought the digital collectors edition IMO did waste $40.
-
Editado por Anguis Rex: 9/12/2015 5:38:25 PMI was new to destiny and received a huge discount on getting all dlc and vanilla content for 80$ along with the emotes and whatnot so I'd say it was money well spent

I brought two collectors one for my son and one for myself along with two xboxone I had to work 4 weekends but I don't regret spending nearly £900 it's my money which I worked hard for and when my son is at his mom's I can still game with him
-
Because I support Bungie. Mistakes and all.

Life is short. No use for money when your dead might as well enjoy yourself while you can.
-
Money isn't that important when you're dead so might as well spend it on things I like.
-
Why doest it bother you? Does it affect u in any way? Will ur experience and fun factor decline? Or maybe it will affect your health in some way...

Editado por duzton: 9/12/2015 5:02:23 PMThere's more to the collectors edition than just the emotes, shaders, and class items...I'm buying the collectors edition for the other items.
-
I bought it for the same reason anyone would buy a limited edition. A bunch of cosmetics and collectable items. And it comes with the exotics, shaders, etc

11 RespuestasI go by Spooles Rule (FunHaus) If you pay $60 for a game it should give you back 60 hours of game time Now if I follow that rule then I owe Bungie $360 *I bought Destiny Ps4 on launch which cost $485* So I bought the physical copy of the collectors edition and bought the fastest shipping which $99.66 but we'll round it up to $100 Now let's do the math shall we I've spent 845 hours on Destiny 845-485-100=260 I still owe this magnificent company $260 dollars It's not about the content it's about what you do with what you got and who you have :D

3 RespuestasHad a paycheck with 169 hours on it, decided to splurge a little

Because I put the collectors edition boxes on my shelf and the toys in my desk. I like having them because they are cool looking.

1 RespuestaNo to sound like that asshole, but my serious answer is. Life's short, enjoy it. We work to make money to enjoy life with, this is just one of the many ways too.
