Messenger needs to be dealt with. Period.
Call me salty, bitchy, whiny, whatever.
They had no trouble putting the Pilgrim in its place. Everyone was ready to move on if the Thorn wasn't pared down this year.
The Messenger fanboys try to cling to the idea that "it was earned". So was the Thorn.
If Bungie doesn't get real, the Messenger basically nullifies every effort they just made towards "balance". No doubt about it.

There's videos on youtube now showing players who aim well actually crushing their opponents using the messenger since 2.0 dropped. It simply isn't debatable right now. BTW I'm salty too because Bungie ruined our pilgrims but allowed other players to keep their similar guns. My hope now is to get my hands on the new Häkke pulse rifle that shoots 4 bullets. Depending on its stability and recoil it will probably unseat the messenger with ease. I hate the idea of regrinding for it though, which I'm sure was Bungie's intention in the first place...

after my initial disappointment with the Hopscotch and trying various other guns, I decided to get preserving with the Hopscotch. I think it's still viable in regular Crucible, I will use it until I get a new better TTK PR anyway. I have outlaw and reactive reload on mine and when reactive's up it's still a 2 burst kill, it seems to be a case of using the buffs well, either way I will stick with this.

It's ROF is so slow if you miss your shots, against a decent player, you're dead. When you get inside auto rifle range it gets hard to hit targets. Plus it's extremely difficult to get. You have to go 9-0 in trials and that doesn't even guarantee the drop.

It may get used in regular crucible, but in Iron Banner and Trials it will be useless as its stuck at year 1 damage levels. Not that hard to figure out man chill

Let assume all precision hit Average guardian health 195 Messenger 38x3 =114 So messenger need 2 burst to kill (all precision hits) Hopscotch/55 allfate 33x3 = 99 2 burst shot 198 Still 2 burst shot to kill So??

1 RespuestaLearn some movement tips or something, if you can stay in one place long enough for a slow fire rate gun to kill you, it's mostly just you, or you could learn gunplay and use everything you have around you and in-game mechanics to your advantage

Man, I'm still waiting for Bungie to nerf the pistol in Halo CE. That was over powered.

A slight tweak is needed. ROF or impact. Stability is too devastating a loss for pulses.
