So we've all seen the articles littering the web about making blink "less good" but does anyone really know what that means?
Side note* I'm 100% pro blink. Combined with current shotgun rolls its...very strong, albeit not broken by itself. Anyone who "hates blink" is probably bad at it, thus the dislike.
But really...
If you increase cooldown time
-after blink 1
This would be awful. Missing a jump you're screwed. Unless we're going to add a jetpack/life cooldown too.
-after blink 2
This just slows gameplay. Doesn't seem to fix a blinker...just makes you be more cautious when you choose too
-nerf distance blink travels
I feel like this again ruins it. This only makes moving around the map tedious and awkward to make normal jumps.
So...yeah that's all I have. How could, and supposedly are they going to nerf blink without ruining it entirely?

Blink is still just as good. Shotty game is still strong. Lol go Bungie.

Just make don't make yourself invincible when you use blink. Voila. It becomes a normal jump. Or teleport. Whatever. I don't use it anyway. But the invinciblity thing just doesn't feel right. Cmon, how is jumping making you invincible?

Hitting somebody dead on with a goddamn rocket only for them to not get damaged because of I-Frames is the stupidest thing. Mind you, Blink is annoying as shit to fight regardless, it's up there with Thorn for sapping the fun out of the game but at least without I-Frames it wouldn't be quite so stupidly broken. At least if they nerf it into the ground people would actually learn what a primary is rather then Blink-Shotgunning the world. There have been so many gun fights I would have lost if some idiot decided to do something other then shotgun rush.

3 RespuestasMake it so you can't pull out your weapons until after a short period in which you've hit the ground; it's an easy solution which doesn't render it useless and makes it more of a defensive talent than an offensive talent. (Which we have Sliding for already)

furthermore, part of the difficulty is knowing who's currently got blink equipped without seeing them previously use it. if there were some particle effect to telegraph that its equipped it may become easier to counter

Think they're making a longer delay for blink. So if you blink twice it will take longer to blink again

alter its use. it no longer uses your momentum to consider where you're going, but where your reticle is. holding jump charges the blink and releasing jump initiates the blink. a quick tap would only get you a very short distance, but to achieve the current distance you practically have to hold it til you're back on the ground

2 RespuestasMaking your weapons ready slower after blinking would be my guess. That way you can still get around the map but blink shot gunning (which is probably why blink is getting nerfed) would be harder to accomplish.

Remove the invincibility frames, make it more obvious where they are (add a dot to the radar when someone blinks) and greatly increase the time to ready weapons after blink

Leave blink exactly as is. except that when a shotgun is in your load out, blink is dissabled.

Just increase weapon ready time after blink so that you can't shoot until you land.

Because after you blink you have to take into account of the time it takes you to fall down to the ground. After so you have about a 1-2 second of reaction time. Also make it an insta kill if someone blink out of a rocket. You shouldn't be able to dodge a rocket by jumping. This will avoid people blinking and shotgunning right away This will avoid people shooting while in the air This will give time for the opposing player to react. This will also get people to use blink correctly so they can juke out other players and to use it as mobility. EDIT: I wanna clear something up here. I am not talking about after you land. I mean by the time you start your double jump to the time you land. When you jump it takes a solid 1-2 second, and by the time you or land or close to landing. you have a cool down for only 1ish second, maybe 2. And I will note again. Blink isn't used so you can have split second CcC. Blink is used for traveling and used for juking people out which it does just fine. But it isn't use so you can blink and kill someone split seconds away.

They should just need shotguns I love blinking it's a fun way to move around and don't want them nerfing it
