Whatever you chose, please don't choose it because you main it. What do you guys think the class with the most amount of skill required is?
Oh and also comment WHY the class you voted for takes skill.
Edit: seeing a lot of Titans in the comments, but hunters are the main voted for... What???
Edit 2: I honestly think that Titans take the most skill. Yes, I main one, but I have all 3 classes. Here are some reasons why I chose Titans...
-worst range melee
-only has over shield on KILL (defender)
-super cannot kill (defender)
-other supers can pop bubble
-no blink
-shoulder charge easily countered by shotguns
-no arcbolt/firebolt type grenade
Among other things
Edit 3: Holy crap, we passed over the 1,000 comment mark!!!!
Edit 4: Daaaaaang, over 2,000 comments!!!
Edit 5: OVER THREE THOUSAAAAAAND!!!

Wanted to bring this thread back since there have been changes to classes in D2. Hunters won the poll before and since they got nerfed into oblivion in D2 (can't blink anymore, can't duck to go invisible anymore, Golden Gun can't make enemies explode anymore, etc) I am sure they will stay where they are but I wanted to hear more of people's opinions on everything.
-
3 RespuestasTo say classes specifically is to general so I'll rank my subclasses that I think take the most skill. 1.) Gunslinger- high risk- high reward class 2.) Defender- lacks offensive capabilities of other classes, but can be very clutch in certain situations, lower risk class 3.) NightStalker- very good neutral game, but requires a skilled player to take advantage of it 4.) BladeDancer- due to the nerf blink isnt what it used to be, super hits don't register, can defiantly wreak teams but not what it used to be 5.) Sunbreaker- also was nerfed, super is still extremely powerful, a blade dancer can take one out... But it's a 2 hit swing, this can take a blade dancer out in 1 hit, also better grenades, worse Meele 6.) Striker Titan- has Fist of panic, shoulder charge, Titan skate, and lighting grenades, solid class, not OP, but very powerful 7.) storm caller- super lasts forever, have very good grenades, that meele range is insane 8.) sunsinger- the least skill require posible, wins 9/10 meele encounters, can res from the dead unexpectedly, firebolt grenades, Viking funeral, song of flame.
-
I really think they all have weaknesses... Exept the op ass warlock... But hunters can easily get killed in super even in blade dancer if not using blink, also hunters are stuck with one of the supers that max generates 4-5 orbs and gunslinger has no armour what so ever, titans are a little less on the skill plane since they have fist of panic lightning granades supression granades and armour of light but they still take some consiterable skill to use in crucible
-
I would say Hunter as I die a *lot* more as a hunter. They focus more on agility and stealth and not so much on armor. I can make more mistakes with a titan or a warlock and still make it out of the situation alive. Not so much with a hunter.

Which skill takes the most class

Editado por A Purracausal Kitty: 9/14/2015 12:15:31 PMTitan Should be no1 there way to slow to play, warlock is just cheese all over and hunter is just blink & shotgun xD
-
Two answers: Hunters when it comes to controlling Your character Titans when it comes to being a beast i Crucible
-
I voted hunter because I main it.
-
2 RespuestasI'm a Titan and I kinda say Gunslinger, it's all about accuracy besides the flare grenade. You have to be spot on, and those jumps are wretched.
-
Hunter imo. In Pve point of view, their super is either need extreme precision to deal somehow underwhelming damage or get up close and personal to deal enough dps. Either warlock or titan have the spike damage type super which can blow the mobs in ash easily in close or mid/long range. Also, the current sub classes for hunter do not have those powerful and easy to use grenades like warlock and titan. At the point when you need to defense yourself, warlock has self res and titan has the mighty bubble, and both of them has a way to over shield themselves. For hunters, the best they can do is to go invisible, and when its run out they have almost no defensive measure to survive except their high agility......i.e. run. That is not practical when the combat zone is small with less room for maneuver. Although, warlock and titan do have some weakness (e.g. Fist of Havoc's range is too short, over shield required confirm kill, warlock jumping ability is hard to control for some people and nova bomb cant be use too close or caster will get major damage as well.........), hunter is still difficult to use.

17 RespuestasEditado por Ne0nK0ala: 9/14/2015 12:19:22 AMSure Titans don't have much going for them but hunters have a lot less, sure you can claim that they are op in crucible, but it's actually warlocks, it's just that most warlocks don't know how to use one properly and as such hunters get a bad name. Hunters have no shield enabling melee, both Titans and warlocks do. Hunters have easily the worst grenades in the game, they only sometimes kill idiots, or half damage them. Hunters do have blink but so do warlocks. Hunters super does not add as much shield as the other classes. Hunters have the worst jump without an exotic. Hunters have the least armour. Hunters have the worst exotics. I could go on. Btw people talking about supers is dumb, sure the super is good, but seriously how many kills a game is that? Not many, you could easily do the same if not more with the sun slinger class.

Editado por oracea: 9/14/2015 3:41:38 AMI main a Titan, I think warlocks are so bad even developers knew it sucked so they said hey let's give it a revive ability, cuz you know, it sucks But I do think Hunters take the most skill, I've come to like the class, not as much as my Titan tho
-
Hunters require the most skill..?! Bwahahahaha
-
Titans are at a constant disadvantage and his the hardest to use
-
The ones you like
-
This thing is old. Don't beat up on OP.
-
At least you have over shield and as a main gunslinger I feel ya in not having the bolt nades
-
Editado por PoseidonOvr9000: 9/14/2015 3:09:03 AMLol you stated that you didn't want people voting on a class just cause they main it. Yet you declared your main is a Titan and you think they take more skill to play... Then sneer at the poll that states people think Hunters take more skill, than question it? OK.
-
Titan or hunter we can both agree warlocks take no skill
-
Hunters: -Supers are reliant on aiming (rather than general directions like Strikers and Voidwalkers) -Grenades are easily avoided and detected (crouch for arcbolt and walk around trip mines) -Melee is alright, but throwing knife is not a oneshot headshot (you really think you can survive a knife to the head?) -very bare bones in PvE, makes you rely on your guns more than anything. -invis in PvP is useless, invis in PvE needs to be timed well, unless you want to get caught with your pants down. Not saying that Warlocks and Titans require no skill, just a little less.
-
3 RespuestasTitans got their lightning grenade for pvp and bubble for pve.. Enough said here.
-
I honestly think you have to put subclasses there. Because I would think Defender for PvP and probably sunsinger pve or maybe blade for pve. Not sure
-
Hunter, so system assist.
-
This implies that any class requires skill. None of them do.
-
If you're talking pve hunters, because atm they suck. If you're talking pvp, definitely titans. Warlocks are easy in both. But if you're good with a titan thats impressive. Yeah foh is pretty much unstoppable and easy but thats it. And it has no range. Hunters are so good in pvp its silly

This thread has officially turned into: "What class do you main?"
