Kills with TLW and Thorn don't count in PvP.
Sorry, but the guns are so Op it's just ridiculous. The guns do all the work. Kind of like baseball players and steroids. It's not the skill the players have it's the steroids they use to be good. Same for TLW and Thorn. It's not the skill it's the guns. Any noob could pick up a Thorn and get lots of easy kills. I don't know why Bungie nerfed autos, and fusions into the ground but let TLW and Thorn completely own the crucible.
Edit: I have both Thorn and TLW. I don't use them. It would be like putting training wheels on a bike. I don't need Op weapons to help me play good.
Edit 2: I find it amusing that almost all the negative comments i'm getting are from people who use Thorn and TLW. Not surprising. Most people in the crucible use those Op weapons. So i'm getting a lot of hate. That's Ok. Come at me haters. The nerf is just a matter of time, so enjoy those easy no skill kills while you can.
Edit 3: Bungie is nerfing thorn and the last word. HA HA........HA HA HA.........BLaHAHAHaHaHaHaHaHah. Better put that thorn in the vault and learn some skills, kids.

You must suck, infact what I find funny is red death/the messenger /hopscotch pilgrim/all snipers and shottys have a faster and easier ttk. I literally run around the map with messenger 2 shotting everyone. It's far more op than thorn and the last word. If not I just pull out my snipers and headshot them, or blink and shotgun, or use.my supers, or firebolt grenades with viking funeral. Hell there's dozens of counter measures and more OP things that thorn and tlw.

According to my stats I think they do count but they are op and I have been using messenger and icebreaker instead

I completely agree. I never use thorn any more and don't really use the last word either, but the other day I decided to use it for fun. It was so op that I decided to switch back to red death.

I think all auto rifle kills before the nerf should be cancelled out too. As well as Cydonia kills in the beta. All kills a hunter does within a few seconds of blinking too since it was a warlock only ability.

If there's 3 or less Thorn/TLW users I'll use a legendary primary (usually the Fulcrum), but if there's more than 3 then I put on TLW and wreck em..

4 RespuestasRecently I began going into rumble and clash with my nlb. But there was always someone with a last word or a thorn that keeps killing me and trying their little hearts out, I pull my last word and win the game. Once they get nerfed, people will complain about something else being op, probably hard light, but never my precious nlb.

If you're that damn salty over those 2 guns, rather than whining about and taunting those that use one, spend your time fine-tuning your accuracy and speed so that it won't be that much of an issue. Both of them are indeed annoying, but can be overcome without the need to resort to fighting fire with fire. I can't use either Thorn or Last Word. The rate of fire and recoil throw off my aim severely. So I just let them gather dust in the Vault and use what's best for me. Either my Red Death, Bad Juju, Fulcrum, 55A-allFATE, MIDA Multi-Tool, or Hawkmoon. Those are my weapons of choice. I pick what suits my play style instead of relying on what everyone else uses because it seems to be the only way. It's not. Well, not that it really matters. In over a month, the weapons will be redone to make them less of a hassle. Of course, it doesn't mean that players will simply stop using them. Looking at the info given to us, those weapons will still be a viable choice, just not the only choice like they've been for so many players the past few months.

3 RespuestasI never used either until the Thorn over ran PVP. I refused to use thorn so I pulled out a dusty TLW and started wrecking those little dart guns. I'll use TLW until Thorn starts disappearing again. I'd prefer to use a variety of weapons, but I also like to win
