Because it seems like you people like to do that. I have a few points to make.
1; You call people sheep.
This is ironic because in this forum, you are the sheep and that makes me laugh. I have a good kek whenever I see someone call DeeJ a jackass and then turn around and call someone a sheep for buying a DLC, when the reason you didn't buy it is not because you don't like Destiny, but because some guy said so. I genuinely find that funny. (Inb4some defensive guy comes in "I used my judgement, nerd! You're some troll!" *furious typing intensifies*)
2; If anyone here can tell me what Bungie is, I'll fill this one in. What is Bungie?
And the correct answer comes in!
Number 2: a BUSINESS, whose sole purpose is to make $$$$, just like every other for-profit business on the planet. Period. No money = no business.
purpose and "mission" are two different things, so don't hate on me, socialists haha

-Kotaku 28 thank you.
You heard it here, folks! Bungie is a company. Their goal is to make money and games. They aren't a charity service. They give 0 -blam!-s about your "veterans" money wise.
3; DeeJ is the Destiny- wait for it... Community manager! He does what he can with what he gets. Let's not forget that he, David, is also a human being. Shocking, I know. He does not know everything. And his plan is not world domination and the en-slavery of all human kind for his self goal of building the largest bag of lube. He also owes you nothing. Treat him like he is a person, because he is.
4; If I hear one more of you mention free speech, I'm going to kick a puppy. This is Bungie.net. You have no rights here. Play nice.
Bungie can remove whatever they want, add whatever they want, and change whatever. They. Want.
5; Your tears are delicious.
6; "DLC special editions included first two expansions! Wahhhhhh"
"They're forcing us to buy it!!!!!!11!!!"
No they aren't, lmao.
Oh man. Really need that XP boost to get me to Phobos! Force. Lol. Nah. We don't know what's truly in TTK, but it definitely more than a 20$ expansion.
Oh and the "40$/40€ thing, either they thought no one would notice or something -blam!-ed up. Bungie's fault for that one.
Total sheep count: 70
Puppies to be kicked: 7. (I have gently tapped my German Shepard with my foot 7 times, like slow motion kicking. She was a tiny bit annoyed but got over it when I gave her a bath.

I need more hooks.
Editado por NordicSol: 6/23/2015 3:37:41 PMI don't have an issue with anyone at Bungie, they've been good to me and I've been buying their games for a long time, closing in on two decades. Their support has been awesome and they are one of the few devs that actually interacts with their fan base. I can't stress that enough. What I don't agree with, however, is the pricing. I'm still going to buy TTK of course, but I wish they would drop the price even ten dollars. It doesn't make or break much, but it's questionable how a game like destiny can depreciate in value to twenty bucks (with BOTH previous expansions) while a game like Mirror's Edge is still like thirty bucks at GameStop. Reducing the price of TTK by ten and thus balancing the "newcomer" edition to thirty for the base game with expansions and thirty for TTK makes it seem less like a kick in the stomach. *Edit: They should also definitely reevaluate the international pricing, $40 is not the same as £40. We're looking at closer to ~£35. again, not something major, but can be downright irritating to folks as we see here in the forums as of late.

Editado por MammothMcMuff17: 6/23/2015 2:46:54 PMThe game is just not a working formula anymore. Nobody I find sticks around to finish the events, the timed exclusives are rather obnoxious, every post is about pvp but never addresses any of the core game concerns or pve events or content. Maybe I'll come back later when they've learned to manage a game better. But right now the cost is too high, and I feel like BungieVi$ion is looking down their noses on us at every turn. This interview also gives us a lot of perspective on just what they think of us behind those doors. I can see where you're coming from if you don't appreciate everyone getting up in a fuss.

14 RespuestasEditado por EMW ZEEK: 6/23/2015 3:47:30 PMBungie isnt (just) a business. They are a video game developer. Their sole purpose is to make games as good as they possibly can. The business of the video game industry should be just to make good games. Thats it. If the game is good the money will follow. End of story.

It's Tuesday beeshes. Let's get drunk.

Stand up for yourself! Girl.

I agree lol. Still buying the DLC regardless of what the Luke Smith guy says. And -blam!- the collectors edition, I don't need emotes lol.

BUMP!!!!!!11111!!!!!

I'm not a sheep. I'm a ram, b!tch

You can have a fantastic business without greed. It's been proven. If you have a good product, price it fairly, and treat your customer equally and with respect they tend to come back.

4 RespuestasLol i want u to tell me how destiny Is fun? Replaying the same strikes, raids, poe.or is it the story. Or the crucible where everyone uses the thorn and 3 shots you. This game isn't good and there asking us for 40$ for more content that will be boring and repetitive within one week. No thank you..
4; If I hear one more of you mention free speech, I'm going to kick a puppy.
This made me literally lol. Standing outside my work for a break. But really, the sense of entitlement is palpable here. I don't recall "get free stuff in year two for buying the original game" on the back of the box when it came out.
the illuminati must have snuck in and changed it
Sheep.
freedom of speech
"His plan is not world domination"-- that's where you're wrong sir. As many know, Bungie's primary goal is to take over the world. http://bungie.wikia.com/wiki/Plan_for_World_Domination Everything else is on point however.

4 RespuestasEditado por A Rising Wind: 6/23/2015 12:52:35 PMPeople who complain over this other than mild annoyance at most, about this are people who haven't experienced real life. Real life being solely financially responsible for yourself. You think the TTK pricing or value is unfair?? Stay in your parents basement. The real world is much less fair. Last home I owned, I lost over $70,000 through no fault of my own, thanks to over zealous lenders and people unable to pay their loans. Or how I felt about my value as a "veteran" home owner who paid my bills on time every month for years. Guess what complaining accomplished in that scenario? If anyone is truly upset, don't buy TTK. That simple. Otherwise, chalk it up as a lesson in economics PS. That Luke guy was still an ass in that interview. Bad PR by bungie

2 RespuestasI wouldn't be as upset about it if I didn't feel the core game was chopped up and sold back to us piece by piece. I mean come on having the 3rd subclass spot for a year and now saying oh you want this time for more money. It's frustrating at best
-
Well the euros are only $45 dollars and the charge some companies put on to change it over to dollar can be upwards to 12% so for them it equals about $40
-
2 RespuestasBy Bungie you mean 343 ... since the vast majority of what bungie used to be is over there now ... you know this right?

I'm not really bothered, I can afford the Limited edition and will hopefully sell the codes I don't need. Provided they come as individual codes. But it is a bit shady, that some people have to repurchase content over again to receive everything. Bungie should at least take care of those who kept the game alive to this point, for there to be a living population that new players can enter in to. New comers wouldn't give this re-release a chance if it wasn't for the current community. ;)
-
Finally, some intelligence on these forums. I commend you sir! Well done!

1 RespuestaThey are a business, but they're the type of business that has been showing a pattern of lying to their customers. There are businesses out there that make money and do the right thing. Bungie continues to promise the world and under deliver. This has been my problem with the game from the beginning. VoG was the saving grace for me in this game and there hasn't been anything as good as that since. Also, TDB was so bad that it makes this DLC look good. Thats a great move by bungie, starve us for content and set the bar low and we will be happy with whatever garbage they send our way. This is why people like you are called Sheep by other people. You believe whatever nonsense bungie feeds you and ask for more (more will be in the next DLC)
-
It is curious though, that you would think a multi-million dollar company needs your trivial defense on a decrepit forum.
