Because it seems like you people like to do that. I have a few points to make.
1; You call people sheep.
This is ironic because in this forum, you are the sheep and that makes me laugh. I have a good kek whenever I see someone call DeeJ a jackass and then turn around and call someone a sheep for buying a DLC, when the reason you didn't buy it is not because you don't like Destiny, but because some guy said so. I genuinely find that funny. (Inb4some defensive guy comes in "I used my judgement, nerd! You're some troll!" *furious typing intensifies*)
2; If anyone here can tell me what Bungie is, I'll fill this one in. What is Bungie?
And the correct answer comes in!
Number 2: a BUSINESS, whose sole purpose is to make $$$$, just like every other for-profit business on the planet. Period. No money = no business.
purpose and "mission" are two different things, so don't hate on me, socialists haha

-Kotaku 28 thank you.
You heard it here, folks! Bungie is a company. Their goal is to make money and games. They aren't a charity service. They give 0 -blam!-s about your "veterans" money wise.
3; DeeJ is the Destiny- wait for it... Community manager! He does what he can with what he gets. Let's not forget that he, David, is also a human being. Shocking, I know. He does not know everything. And his plan is not world domination and the en-slavery of all human kind for his self goal of building the largest bag of lube. He also owes you nothing. Treat him like he is a person, because he is.
4; If I hear one more of you mention free speech, I'm going to kick a puppy. This is Bungie.net. You have no rights here. Play nice.
Bungie can remove whatever they want, add whatever they want, and change whatever. They. Want.
5; Your tears are delicious.
6; "DLC special editions included first two expansions! Wahhhhhh"
"They're forcing us to buy it!!!!!!11!!!"
No they aren't, lmao.
Oh man. Really need that XP boost to get me to Phobos! Force. Lol. Nah. We don't know what's truly in TTK, but it definitely more than a 20$ expansion.
Oh and the "40$/40€ thing, either they thought no one would notice or something -blam!-ed up. Bungie's fault for that one.

Agree. Business are started to make money, but some make game designing a lifestyle. Bethesda is a perfect example. They love what they do and they want to make the best games that they can and though I can't speak for all of them, I'd say money is not the number 1 priority, but rather pleasing their fans is.

You can brown nose bungie all you want but I totally 100% disagree with you.

6 RespuestasEditado por shonik09: 6/23/2015 11:12:25 PMForget the whole $40 40 euro thing, why do I have to pay £40? It's the same price as a full PS4 game. Batman Arkham Knight is £40 on Amazon... http://i.imgur.com/VJUzRq7.png

I agree but I just want the emotes man. Plus everyone getting so upset about this shows that bungie is doing a good job with sucking people in. If they didn't like the game they wouldn't buy it and wouldn't post on this forum that they're not going to buy it just to get attention. I mean this shenmue 3 or whatever just announced their game (at Sony press conference for sony) and said you want it pay us to make it then buy it and everyone is throwing money at them haha Kids these days want what they want and want it right meow or they'll throw a tantrum fit

Editado por Doc: 6/23/2015 8:37:23 PMI would like to question your second point, they're a company whos aim to make money, fair enough, but they actually should respect veteran players, we make them who they are, without us they would have no money, or no where close to near the same amount, gaming industries aren't like others and should share more compassion, although about the David situation I'll leave you with this - I don't exactly agree with what he said but I've come to realise that his hands were tied, what did you expect him to say? He has to sell the game and that's exactly what he did, he can't just say "I don't agree with how Bungie is selling the game" because then he would probably get the sack. And something that I've said before is that a game is worth what you make of it, if I pay £40 then I know I will get that much entertainment out of it and that's exactly why I am buying it.
-
Dang, he did enough sucking up in that post that he might get all the new player stuff with his $40 version.

Where can we fight? I'm in the mood to bust some nuts right now.

Let It Go, Let It Go.....

This was quite unexpected from you.

Defend Bungie all you want, It's Activision that is the Cancer plaguing Destiny and the Gaming Industry as a whole. The money grubbing marketing tactics and psychological ploys that they have employed have soured what should have been one of the greatest games of all time. Remember People, the only way thing corporations pay attention to is profit, so vote with your wallets.
Don't buy games published by Activision
-
It's funny how everyone who disagrees with us "fanboys" act like it's against the law to like the game and preorder their DLC.

I am all for your response. I too defend a business here. As for the $40/40 pound thing........People overseas fail to remember that licensing items here and over there cost different. There could be a huge licensing fee over there and the higher cost conveys that. Bungie/Activision isn't going to eat that cost. If they did, they would be out of business every time they did that. The extra fees are always passed on to the consumer.

Let me know if you need to tag out. These children are relentless.

Editado por NINO: 6/23/2015 5:46:09 PMFinally. I have not understood why everybody is so angry. Bungie needs to make $. I am completely ok with spending $140 on this game because I get much more than my money's worth from this game. I might even buy the collectors edition, time will tell. Basically what I'm saying is you are the first person on the forums that I have found (other than me) that is willing to defend bungie.

Couldn't agree more. People on these forums don't seem to know what's actually worth getting mad over. "The UK price is more than the US price for no reason, therefore actively ripping UK players off? Who gives a shit about that, let's freak out over an XP boost that probably won't be useful past level 20 and takes up an exotic slot!"
-
WOW, I think you are the second or third person on these forums that actually has the capacity to think. The hater sheep here are truly amazing. The funniest thing is they don't realize they are the sheep. Good job. I agree with everything you say.
