Thieves Den Trials
As someone who has completely 10+ flawless runs, I can honestly say that Thieves Den is the worst map I've played in Destiny. Nothing but promoting blink and shotgunning. Have yet to play a game where gun fights were a staple. Just wish Bungie would have symmetrical maps for a game type like this. Pantheon has been my favorite.
Just thought of this. Can you imagine how one sided Shores of Time is going to be? C spawn will have a huge advantage every round

Definatly the worst map yet! Imo probably worst map on the game, the areas where you engage in battle were so small, hardly any movement!

Really? I played about 6 matches yesterday, 5 of them was sniping contest as with the previous ones.

it really was bad. i do not count any but two of my seven flawless runs besides the two the first week. no one else should, either. in order for it to truly matter, everyone needs to be 100% familiar with the map. that will only be the case if it is NOT A DLC MAP. not cauldron, not pantheon, not any HOW maps, NO. although some, basically all, the maps will be unbalanced, with the exception of burning shrine and perhaps the asylum, at least we will be familiar with them and callouts will be part of the game.

The only problem I have is with the cap zone being there. It should be on top of the ship instead. The cauldron was worse with it's spawn advantages. The thing that put me off from playing trials was the amount of laggy games (of which some may have been lag switches)

It was a hell of a lot better than the cauldron. I don't know about you but I didn't encounter many people who simply rushed with a shotgun.

Pantheon was the worst map them thieves den lol their was no symmetric to it.

Rubbish map for trials, done 2 flawless and 8-1 on my lock, will get flawless with that tomoz. Hate the map though. The others have been great fun, the den is pushing my patience though!

19 RespuestasNone of the maps were really designed for a more like this. They're all designed with control in mind. This is partly where Trials comes undone. Rotating spawns every round would be ideal and removal of the heavy round. I've managed to adapt to all the other maps but this one just refuses to grow on me.

1 RespuestaIsn't it amazing how blink jumping can unstick a grenade from you but if you're a Titan or not using blink the same nade would kill you? I'm bored to death with PVE but every time I try to get back into PVP I find it to be the most unbalanced PVP game I've ever played. The amount of shit you have to go through just to get into a gunfight is sickening.

I hate using shotguns but now I need to pick up a felwinters lie clone to join the bandwagon so I can be good at both sniping and shotguning. This map does not cater to snipers much. Sure, you get a lane here and there but tight spaces promote grenade spamming and shotgunning. Every week I do good based on the map. I have to get better. Have only gone flawless three times.

3 RespuestasProblem with this map is it just promoted grenade spamming and sitting there aimed in down a corridor waiting to spam fire the thorn or last word into somebody, it really is a map that take 0 skill.

Pantheon was easily my least favorite. It was bothing but choke points and narrow corridors. People just scoped down a hallway until you showed up.

Sitting here agreeing with you to the fullest . Gone undefeated every week and this has been the worst map. I thought last week was bad but this one takes the cake

1 Respuestajust as bad is the overpowered spawn with nade energy in trials. All you need is two hunters with lucky raspberry and arc bolts and you'll be nigh unstoppable.

3 RespuestasI'm just hating destiny the more I play trials. I'm not a bad Pvp player, but just suck when it comes to ToO. But yet I have been using lfg to find random people. At this point I just want the gifts from brother Vance, I don't even care about the lighthouse.
