Ok, so if Bungie is listening to the community, WHEN THE HELL ARE THEY NERFING THORN?
Seriously, it's the only gun in Osiris. No primary weapons should two-shot kill. The bullshit needs to stop.

Quit calling for nerfs. It's all you people do. Nerfing thorn doesn't fix the problem. Red death will just take its place and The last word will be right behind. It's probably taking bungie a while to install a patch that rebuffs auto rifles and adds small changes to other well known guns.

Listen. Bungie are shit. If they nerf thorn they can't beat us anymore. The gun takes no skill you don't need crits it can hit across the map and endless more They will never nerf it eventually people will stop playing

My idea of nerfing it: Instead of the burn dealing damage over time, it would put LITERAL thorns in you, meaning that they wouldn't deal any extra damage unless if the victim is moving, which will be very often in PvP and PvE. This (maybe?) can stack.

Make the DoT stop as soon as the user is killed. Or 2. Make the effect work differently by increasing the poisons timespan, but instead of it inflicting damage, it slows recovery for much longer, say 10-15 secs. So the impact of the thorn is the only damage dealer, but you are debuffed and can't heal for an amount of time. This would be for pvp only in my opinion. It would still be viable to use, but maybe it wouldnt be the gun 70% of crucible users decide to use. Also, please fix my Monte Carlo. You've broken it. All autos need some glory back.

There not stop crying about it... Nerfing weapons dosnt fix anything, and the thorn isn't that bad to go up aganst. So what everyone is using one? If they nerf it then you'll be crying that the red death needs a nerf cause then everyone will move to that....

2 Respuestas[b]where the -blam!- is weapon tuning 2.0[/b]. I hope they don't just buff autos. Then what will we have, maybe one(suros) extra gun that can compete with thorn? Handcannons need a hard range nerf and autos need a damage buff as well as scout rifles. In a game with probably over 100 different primary guns they need to make it so that more than only 5(thorn, last word, vex, red death, hawkmoon) are used.

Instead of nerfing...buff the autorifles and fusion rifles back to where they stand. right now it is all shotguns all the time.

Now, I realize not all of the answerers would've been Bungie guys, but I have faith that a decent amount of Bungie guys answered, because they do patrol the forums. The only thing that needs a change is an Auto Rifle buff. Other than that, it's fine. Thorn can be countered very well, with Vex Mythoclast, Red Death, Hawkmoon, The Last Word and even the new weapons like, The Messenger etc.

Just leave thorn alone. I like the balance with guns now. ARs need a buff, before everyone used autorifles, now NO one does
